Udynean Shawl

A wide scarf-like length of cloth traditionally worn by Udynean folk of all genders to cover the head and shoulders when they lived in what is now the Country of Obuzan the choice to wear it has become more one of preference and local trends, as has how the shawl is worn with no single way being considered the right way (although some styles can be seen as more fashionable). As well as the traditional manner, it can be seen with the ends thrown over both shoulders like a cape, draped over one shoulder and tucked into a belt, allowed to completely cover one or both arms.   The largest percentage of folk to still wear them regularly comes from both the Crystal Court  and the various clergies. Where the latter still wears it in the traditional style, more nobles drape it over one shoulder to loop around the back and over the other arm. Amongst the nobility, it is another place to show wealth and status, with those in the lower station having plainer shawls made of fine materials, and higher rankings having elaborate designs along the full length. All the way to the shawls of the royal family having threads of precious metals woven into the cloth.

Raw materials & Components
The traditional shawls were made from soft linen thanks to Obuzan's many flax plantations and the shawls priests wear often still are done with traditional materials.
