A rare skill to manifest and an even more difficult one to fully master despite it being, in the simplest sense, less the art of fading from people's view and more the knack of drawing one's personal shield inward rather than out and, thus, using it to reflect a person's surroundings. Because it relies entirely on a spellster's strong desire to hide, the first appearance happens without warning and is often due to a build-up of immense psychological pressures throughout adolescence. That's not to say older spellsters cannot spontaneously gain this ability, but it takes a great deal more trauma to manifest. With mastery, this talent can also help muffle a person's voice, movements and even scent, rendering them completely undetectable by all beyond Nulled Ones.
