Weavestorms

When the strands of the Weave vibrate or move in a way that is unpredictable and volatile it can create an effect known as a Weavestorm. When the weave vibrates this way it becomes very difficult or nearly impossible to be able to pull upon the strands to cast magic. Those who are lucky enough to cast in a weavestorm are at risk of heavy harm as the strands' vibrations cause the caster to also resonate similarly to the weave itself. An effect that can threaten even the most fortitudinous of casters with the destruction of their person. However, for many, once within the heart of the storm, magic is simply impossible.
