Side Quest: C1 / Story 5.2 -- Church Occupation of De La Sol

Xanther has heard of you and before he can invite you to his lair, he needs to know that he is in the midst of cold-hearted killers.
There is a village off the coast of Port De La Sol, under Jua protection. Xanther's enemies run here looking for protection. It is not the golden city, but it is close. Xanther's former number 2,Nahix, was exiled here, and rumor is he is going to snitch to the courts, which will give Jua's military all they need to take an offensive stance against them. Your point of contact is Rayne (level 15 Rouge Assassin).
Kill Nahix and all he may have snitched too. This is a zero footprint op.
****Have this person be a person from the Character's Backstory**** Do not engage with local law enforcement. This is not your average town guard, this is a town military.

ACT I

Scene 1

Life in De La Sol

Revisit Lt. Stygian Black's Cards -- as they will all play out here.
De La Sol is a place of peace a known Cleric has risen in the ranks and turned a place where 4 temples. You would know the Omar's restuarant is in town. The Cleric, named Bolsa (Real Name Thaddeus Grim he has on him the Axe of Essential Inversion | Weapon (greataxe)), welcomes all.

This axe's mighty twin blades are edged with ruby and sapphire. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which deals an extra 1d12 force damage to any celestial or fiend it hits.
Charges. The axe has 5 charges for the following properties. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn.
Banishment. When you make an attack with this weapon, you can expend 2 of its charges to empower it with planar magic, or 1 charge if the target is a celestial or fiend. If the attack hits, the target is affected by the banishment spell (save DC 17). You must concentrate on the spell as normal, but if you fail a Constitution saving throw made to maintain concentration on the spell when you take damage, you can expend 1 of the weapon's charges to succeed instead.
Dilution. When you hit a celestial or fiend with this weapon, you can expend 1 of its charges to deal an extra 1d12 force damage. When you do, the target's essence is diluted until the end of your next turn. For the duration, the target is considered to have no damage resistances, immunities, or vulnerabilities.
Inversion. When you reduce a celestial or fiend to 0 hit points using the axe, you can expend 1 of its charges to force the target to make a DC 17 Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the target's sense of self is shattered; it drops to 1 hit point instead, and is under the command spell.

Sune is the temple where you heard the Cult of Janthiman is attacking next.
  The town sworms with town guards and police. Not an occupation, but these are peacekeeprs. Unsavory characters are not allowed. Military Soliders.
As you get off the boat (or how you travel) you notice there are three ports two civilIan ports and one industrial port. These ports are heavily traffixed with people and frieght.

WINTER'S CULDRON

WINTER'S CULDRON

The place is packed with all manner of folk hang out. The fact two Aasimar are in this place is seen as a sign. The Aasimar are rock stars and celeberties. People come up to you and ask you questions: "What temple are here to bless? When are the Lesser dieties coming back? Have you ever been to the underdark? Have you fought a devil?"
People swarm you. However, your attention has caught the eyes of some higher ups. You don't know who they are but their robes are noticable different.
Rayne is in the bar, but you have no idea what she looks like, just a half-elf and there are tons of half-elves in this bar and they have all seemed to follow you.

Rayne cannot be seen talking to two Aasimar. Two actual angels. Ya'll are like rock stars in this place. For our mission it requires too much attention. Go to Gomash's shop on the docks. Tell em Rayne sent you.
Perception 8+: You notice a missing poster in the middle of the town square. There are hundreds of teens faces pictures up. Some are wanted, some are missing, and some are both. You also notice the GOBLIN KNIGHTS and opening for them are: ROUGE AGAINST THE RELM. They are preforming at the Cherry Bloosm Hill tonight, The Lazy Jackle tomorrow Night, and Oscar's in a week.

New Uniform

Gomash a fancy Half-Orc glasses dangling off his face sees the outdated and excited to see two Aasimar in his shop. It's not every day he gets adventures in there. Those clerics and paladins out there they think of themselves as adventures but they haven't left De La Sol. How can I help you?
Gomash takes your measurements. He gets a little frisky but he's playful. He is an artist with a diguse kit. He tells you, your appearence will unrecognizable and he turns you into new creatures, needing a CHA DC 20 to in order see past your disguse. Gomash gives you 3 more disguse kits.
If you are proficent with disgues kits, then you have advantage. The disguess last until you finish a long rest. 1 kit can disguse all of you, but you need a DC 15 to be unrecognizable.
New Uniform
The new uniforms come with a +1 Shortsword.
 
Private talk with Rayne
Upon Entering Winter's Culdron (PERCEPTION CHECK DC 12) you notice this is the hang out spot for town guard. But you also notice people going into a secret room.
Upon approaching the door you see someone and they say intiates cannot be back here. (Deception Check DC18: b/c he doesn't believe you)
This is a private party and if you want to come back here you'll have to make a donation in TEMPEST Name: the god of war and vengence! A drunk cleric falls on his shoulders, and says "and a good fucking time!"

THE BACK ROOM


In the back of the bar there is an intense drinking game being played.

When you enter you see notice the staff are all Dwarfs. Laughing with the boys in blue is stocky lady three of your fingers equal one of hers. She has a braided beard and laughs like roaring hippo. HISTORY CHECK DC+13 -- This is non other than Winter Neval the owner of this establishment.
This is the spot where the church folk cut loose.

  Getting Rayne's attention:
You can flash your criminal contact sign to reveal yourself, but you have to roll a stealth check because this is a military occupied state and everyone here knows all of the well known criminal symbols. It is high stealth roll DC 17.
On a success: Rayne tells you to piss off, initiates can't just bully their way to back here! Ves joins in the ribbing. She tells Ves to stay put, she's going to put these recruits in their place. Rayne pays for the next round of Ves's drinks and says she'll be right back.
Rayne is happy you got new clothes and tells you there is a lot of shady shit going on in De La Sol. The virgin prince, Shalo, but her friend just old her he's coming but she doesn't know when. Find out what you can about why The Virgin Prince is coming we will meet at Oscar's (a friend who owns the high end restaurant in town), in 5 days, at 8pm - the password is "TIMBER". Don't be late.

Investigating the Temples

Temple of Jua

The Temple of the Sun. The temple of Lawful Good.
FIRST FLOOR In the middle of the room are the 4 Lesser Dieties. (Need Names). Abbathor, Hathor, Savras, and Water Lion.
These four dieties tell no secrets. There are monks and clerics walking with books and dressed in robes to the different chambers of their dieties.
ABBATHOR: is the dwarven god of greed. He wants us all to be wealthy. Those who believe say he was the only person took ritches from the Golden City of Jua. His statue is also said to be made with the pure gold from the Golden City.

There is a horde of tressure in this temple. 20k gold coins. However, if you take it, you will need to fight 8 Level 18 Dwarven Fighters and one Mechanical Soldier as well as being cast out from the temple.
If any questions are asked about Shalo or the Virgin King to the Dwarves or those who where Abbathor robes, they know The Virgin King knows the wearabouts of the Golden City but non of their followers are foolish enough to even asks him, and how would they. Archbishop Azul and Archdeacon Bolosa would probably be the only onese Shalo would talk to. They just hope Shalo makes a sizeable donation to Abbathor.
HATHOR: Human farmers. A few Half-elves and Half-orcs but mainly humans who cultivate the land. All who worship her and her husband Bes have shave heads. The followers of the Nurturing Mother forgoed the construction of temples, and instead built small shrines dedicated to their deity in populated locations. Small shrines to Hathor could also be found in all homes of small children.
All who give birth in the city are sent here as a way to seek medical attention.
They have not heard of Shalo coming to visit.
SAVRAS: Beloved by all Savras gives those who worship him power to defeat their enemies. He helps those who are in need and uses violence to aid those. If you chose to be aided by Tempest then you enemies becomes his enemies and your friends become his friends.
NAHIX-- Last anyone heard, he had become a devout follower of Tempest.
Bolosa -- He is the Archdeacon. Head of the town guard. He was a follower of Abbathor but has sinced moved and now follows Awran. The Awran temple was under construction a few months ago come to think about it.
Azul keeps order. Like our king. He spends most of his time in the Sune Temple.
WATER LION: A temple full of Sea Elves, Merfolk, Water Genasi, and Grung. Water Lion followers are happy and playful. Their god is one who plays many tricks and encourages them to do the same.
Inside of the temple there is a meeting going on. The trade of Merfolk needs to stop! Water Lion send us a protector, a champion, someone to hunt down those who are kidnapping and selling our water brothern.
(They know Shalo is coming but they do not know when. They are going to press him about what is he going to do about the capture and trade of recent Merfolk. The High Priest of the temple ALON, sees you and says you look like adventures, you could be the answers to our prayers. Please tell us what you can find about the Captured Merfolk).

House of Tempest
FINDING NAHIX'S True wearabouts
The temple has many tombs and rooms in it.
The temple is a giant thunder storm. Those who enter the temple must be prepared to weather the storm and fight for Tempest.

Tomb 2: Devotee's Censer / 3gp - 22sp - 15cp

BEDROOMS
Priest/initiate Bedrooms (10) -- Nothing is in there but books on tempest. Clothes and robes belonging to followers of Tempest.
Deacon Bedrooms (5) -- More robes. Nothing of useful information.
High Priest Bedrooms (3) -- Outside of one bedroom there are Cleric Guards. Devout followers of Tempest. Bolosa and Azul are there along with other Cleric Town Guards.

However, inside Nahix is not there. There are clear signs of a struggle. AZUL: We need to find who was able to break inside and kidnap him. Search all of the temples. Discretely.
PERCEPTION CHECK DC 18 -- You see Bolosa slide the guards two sacks of coins. DC 15 -- You also notice Azul only has 9 fingers. He's missing his right ring finger.
BOLOSA: Need not worry we shall entertain The Virgin Prince while I find Nahix.

Guards are stationed outside of the temple. They stand at the ready and are very militaristic.
THE OFFICE You find yourself in a General's office.
INVESTIGATION CHECK: (Roll 3 Seperate Perception Checks)
1 - 8 -- On his wall are marble figurines, trapped in different poses. 3 Elfs, 5 Humans, 2 Dragonborns, 1 Aasamir, and 1 Merfolk.

There are names under all of the figurines. HISTORY/ARACANA CHECK DC 10--You know saying these names will cause the figurines to come to life. DC 15 -- You know you can only asks three questions before they return to dead.
Aasamir -- Zekul (Ara). Killed by an Aasamir. His name was Thaddues Grimm. He killed Zekul and their father because they refused to get caught in the Underwater kingdom Slave Trade.
Dragonborn (Ripley) -- Was killed as the first sacrafice into Thaddues's army. Her Father was granted his Freedom and now lives in the Kingdom of Liabon - he knows he would be killed if he returned to Milele. He is a servent for the Count of House Liabon. Killing Thaddues's will bring honor to our family and clear their name in House Milele.
Merfolk (Van Dak) -- His tail was chopped off. Merfolk can only life for a few hours without their tail. He does not know why anyone would do such a thing. Thaddues offered me my freedom after I died to be resurrected as a Sea Elf, but I had to surrendor my soul to him. I refused.
Human (Eric The Cleric) -- Survived his attack with the radiers and helped ****BBG CHARACTER**** locate the 4 orbs. Eric wanted revenge on those who killed his friends - he is happy to see Derrick alive. House Liabon's Winter Cabert approaches, our plan was to unleash the power at House Liabon's Winter Cabert'.

9 - 12 -- Inside of the desk drawers you find a journal belonging to Thaddeus Grimm.

Entry 3: Shalo comes to De La Sol, our armies are almost ready, nothing can stop us.

Using the eye in the room. You see a secret door. There are spiral stairs that lead down and put you out behind a statue in side sanctuary of the temple.

17+ -- You find a trap door under his desk. (Perception Check 2 -- DC 18) it is a bomb. Disarm the trap to open the hatch. Inside is a human man, alive. He looks just like General Bolosa who you saw at the other temple. This is General Bolosa (The Real General Bolosa).

You don't know what spell (w/o and Arcana check) but you do know if you attempt to remove his gag, or free his hands, or feet it will trigger something. He is scared and nervous! He was kidnapped 2 years ago by a young student Thaddues Grimm an Aasamir who came to him looking for to expand his knowledge. We were thankful that an angle wanted to learn the ways of Arawn. To Spread his message. But because Arawn is the god of life and death, we get some bad, but a lot of good. Thaddues convienced others in the temple that Arawn wanted war and murder, and those who believed in the life side of Arawan, were cast out.
He said, you cannot have life without death. It is a cruel deal, but one we all make. Those who didn't join him, he killed. He said he needed me alive, I'm not sure why?

The first two temples are dedicated to the girl Noble (Thaddues's Daughter), and Marrisa (Thaddues's wife).
Noble's Temple:

An unsettling chill pervades this solemn monument. Its cold stone walls are reminiscent of a crypt. The halls are dimly lit and uncomfortably silent, save for the occasional distant groan of undead or the plaintive call of a wailing spirit. The acrid sting of chemical odors hangs in the air.
Children's voice: "WE DON'T LIKE INTRUDERS" rings throughout the halls. Parents mourn in this temple. As you try to turn the room turns black. Coming from the shadows are ZOMBIES and Shadow Creatures. If you do not cast light. thesese tendrals will try to grab you and pull you into the darkness. (remember Derek has a the Mace)
Marrisa's Sanctuary:
Ten melancholy Dusters (commoners) conduct an open-casket funeral for a cheery skeleton named Merle, who never received one in life. Merle lies in the casket but occasionally sits up to hear his own eulogies. The Dusters ask the characters if they'd like to say anything on behalf of the deceased.
If you have nothing nice to say or can't think of anything or refuse, the congregation turns to you and starts to attack. 20 Skeletons with Undead Fortitude & lair action "stench"
MAIN COURTYARD
If you have not killed the Invisible Guard (Level 10 -- Dwarf Barbian w/ 3 Legendary Actions -- Charge, Damage Transfer, and Brute (5-6 Recharge)).
The Dwarf calls upon those to protect these temple as you attempt to go downstairs.
2ND FLOOR
A giant ritual chamber. Everyone in here has the same tattoos of the Yellow Phoenix Horde, the Pryamid in the Sun. As you venture deep into the darkness of the temple, there is a humanoid sacrfice, and elf. The Priest leading this ritual says: "Your sacrfice will give rise to the greatest army in Kismet History!
Inside there are easy 300 undead soldiers as they make the sacrifice. Lead by an Aasimar (Religion Check DC 15 -- Erinyes. The Angel Thaddeus spoke about in his journal).
After the sacrifice is made you see a dead man rise as one falls. The transfer of power. Erinyes says: "The Whispered One would be proud of what we have done. But credit goes not to him but to Admodeus, Bael, and Tiamat all of the 4 evils as we prepare their army and as a show of force we will take Jua's Golden City."

Chapel Of Consequences (Bhaal -- Main quest)

You run into a shit ton of goblin cultist here. Humans and half-elves as well.
The Main Sanctuary -- Is a Maze. (Defeating the Minatur will learn the location of 3rd orb deep in the volcano of Mito Mitatu.)

Scene 2

5 days have passed. At 8pm you make your way to Oscars and the first floor is jumping. There is a human man, about 5'4 or 5'6 greats you. "Hello welcome to Oscar's. Reservation?

Once you give the word. A Human chef, burly guy no nonsense b-lines straight for you. He doesn't give you his name and says, "You're early. And who comes to the front?"
"Go down to the docks where the industrial ships come in to port. Find Horam the half-orc. He has a crate for me. Whatever you do, don't look inside"
Getting the Crate

PERCEPTION CHECKS DC 18:
With all of the sea hands working the docks. There is one man sits slumped over in a chair, cloaked watching just one boat is a . From his cloak he looks like an assassin - from his age retired. You know these creatures normally to reside topside unless it's raining.
You notice a tattoo on his hand.
HISTORY CHECK:

DC 8 - The crest on his tathered cloak is an ancient one. A rumored Underwater Kingdom.
DC 15 - There is a symbol on his hand. THE KRAKEN SOCIETY.

This man is watching the dock workers, he is more or less security.
  Stealth Checks DC 14 -- You are going three blocks away. You need to pass all three stealth checks.
When you get there you see all of the deckhands are half-orcs and goliaths and dragonborns and dwarfs. There are three docks.

There are a few boats on the water. Sir Samson trading company is at Doc 2, Win with Winvie is at Doc 3.
There Horam the HALF ORC who hands you this nailed crack with something moving inside. Horam tells you not to open it. Whatever you do don't open it.
Stealth Checks DC 18 -- Because you are carrying the box. On a fail: a noisy citizen asks what do you have in the box? and you have to roll initiative with Ghald and his friend who is in the water.
OPENING THE CRATE:
Inside is a Merfolk flopping around bound and gaged.

"I am a prince of the Merfolk in a sunken land between Mito Mitatu and Liabon. What was once a land bridge between the two nations is now a natural reef. Oscar pays hundreds of pieces of gold to fish and poach my people out of the sea. In this realm, we are the largest population in the sea, but to some like Oscar, only see my people as a delicacy. Save me and you will always have a friend in the Ocean Kingdoms!
If you save Zilog you receive: Ink Seahorn
. I will also give you my necklace (THE NECKLACE OF Zilog). This is telepathically linked to me. Wear it, and you will be able to community with me at all times.
Whatever you do, do not kill OSCAR. He is protected by so many people. In both Jua and De La Sol. Before I was captured, I had an audience with Shalo, the Prince of Jua to have Oscar brought up on war crimes. Oscar must be made an example of.

SAVING ZILOG

Three DC17 Stealth Checks to get him back to the water or in the sewer system.
Missing one check will cause a nearby dockhand to ring a bell and sound the alarm. Alerting security and the nearby napping assassin.
 

Back at Oscar's

The chef snaps his fingers and 5 men carry the box into the kitchen. The halfling thanks the officers for their discretion and he gives yo ueach 100gp.

Returning without the Merfolk Fin
You do not receive any gold and he says he's going to talk to Bolosa about his men and them stealing from him.

He leads you through the kitchen and through the back door where you find Rayne sitting at an underwater table with a view of the most docile sea monsters and Merfolk trapped in a what looks like a lobster tank.

Meeting Rayne

What have you learned? I have learned the wearabouts of Nahix. My friend Vas, remember, said they moved Nahix to Bolosa's house. They weren't given orders just to be descret.
Bolsa is scheduled to speak at the Temple of Arawn tomorrow night. He won't be home.

Bolsa is the leader of the Cult of Jathiman and he wants to destory all dieties.
Archbishop Azul will be attending the speech but has to leave early, he has a dinner at with an adjudicator from Jua in the Temple of Jua. Then they are going to catch a show at THE LIMELIGHT ASSEMBLY HALL. (ROUGE AGAINST THE REALM is playing a musical troupe.)
We need to get Nahix, and find out why Azul is meeting with an adjudicator. Vas told me Nuuldrocmon (Red Dragonborn), who freaquents the Snooty Booty, and is Azul's number 2 would know why Azul is meeting with an adjudicator. Nuuldrocmon freaquents his best girl (Liby Dayfig - Changling Fairy) on Thursdays. He worships that man. (Azul is like the pope and Nuuldrocom is like a superfan). We need to get Nahix from Bolosa's house and we need someone to question my source, Nuuldrocom.
It would be better for me to go on the sneaky sneaky mission and break Nahix out.

Running Down Leads

THE SNOOTY BOOTY

All are welcome, no kink to taboo and no tool to small, here the boys and girls will do it all! Copper or Platinum piece we got something for every Sage and Mystic, we are cryptic and we mean well. No need to act goofy when you can solve your problems down at the Snooty Booty.

When you walk inside there are girls of every race and guys in the back. Downstairs is a tavern. The girls come and work their magic with each of the guys.
PERCEPTION CHECK DC 14 -- There are no dragonborns in the lobby.

Searching the bar area. You see sitting at the last stool on the bar is a fair.
This is Liby Dayfig. She is drunk. Very unfriendly because she hasn't seen her usual client in 3 weeks.
It could be one of the cultist. He could be in the Temple Arawn. He could be dead. She looks you in your eyes and says, I'll tell you anything you want to know, for the right price. Come to my room and I'll tell you all of the secrets of this fucked up place. I charge Nuuldrocmon 10gp a minute. I say the rate for information is the same. Come to room 4. It's the 3rd door on the left upstairs.

Room 4
When you walk upstairs. Perception Check / Survival Check DC 14. Something seems off. You notice something is off. The doors you pass on the right all seemed crack, you hear no noise or the smooshing of booties.
Walking Inside:
Liby is inside. She sits in a chair in the center of the room. SURVIVAL CHECK DC 14 -- Your hear footsteps approaching.
Azul is buying De La Sol's land from Jua. He is offering upward of 500K gp. However, Bolosa has every intent to kill Shalo when Shalo comes to pick up Nahix. Liby knows all of these because her clients pillow talk. But Bolosa is always a step ahead. He knew Xanther would send someone here looking for Nahix and he always needed Nahix as bait - for Shalo.
Bolosa and Azul both want the samething, power. Azul wants to live in peace and wants De La Sol to be its on independent country so they do not need to wait on a military force to wage war against Skullport. However, all of the temples, except the temple of Jua, have sided with Bolosa. I'm sorry.
Bolosa knows Shalo and the ruling royal family of Jua will never give up power so he is going to take it. He has every intention to kill Shalo when he and arrives to pick up Nahix. Then march an army 300 strong into the capital city and take the city.
Liby transforms into maniquin like figure (A CHANGELING). Out of the closet comes 2 clergy men, Nuuldrocmon, and a random. Liby shouts, "they said they kill me if I didn't help." Nuuldrocom stabs her in the neck and says, Behind you are 15 Clergy Guards.
Nuuldrocom walks up to you and says, "Bolosa knew something was a foot." Finger's snap. A Human Man turns visible. I've been tracking you since you set foot in the temple of Arawn.
Everything Liby said was true. We are Not pure evil. Azul will never understand but the only way for De La Sol to truly be free is to rid ourselves of Azul and free ourselves from Jua.
They attempt to put shackles on your and take you to prison.

Bolosa's Mansion

Outside
Three Stealth and Investigation checks DC 12. There are 4 entrances, but they are all heavily guarded but the Clergic Police (Military Police stat block). This place is under heavy lock and key. There are three guys on the roof with spot lights looking for anyone as well as guards on the ground.
1st Floor
INVESTIGATION CHECK DC 12
Kitchen -- There is no lock on the kitchen door. It swings open.
  • Inside are racks of meet and cheese, and wine. The good stuff too. The 5gp a bottle stuff. Top shelf. You find an Alchemy jug. 3 Potions of Greater Healing.
  • Dining Hall -- Paintings and marble statues. Furniture. Including a Solid Gold couch with 50K gold.
    Sitting Room -- A royal sitting chambers. Paintings of Bolosa with the Royal Families from all of the nations.
    Chapel -- This room looks virtually untuched. At the door,
    A figure walks alone with the stride and bearing of one who knows no fear. Clad in rusty armor, it clutches a gleaming longsword in its pale hand and looks ready for a fight. REVENANT
       
    2nd Floor
    INVESTIGATION CHECK DC 15 -- Each Room has 3 - 8 Guards patroling, and 6 Guards patroling the Hallway (two of which are the same metal soliders from downstairs in the chapel)
    Study / Libary (8) -- You find a history on all of the four kingdoms. You also find logs and logs and logs of ship manifest, written in Aquan. 30 different ships, all Winvie Ships. HISTORY CHECK DC 10 for the names: These names are Elvish, Merfolk, Grung, and a lot of other sea races. This manifest identifies the ship, the payment, and the destination. Mostly all of the destinations were to Oscar's.

    Snooty Booty Convo

    (To get freedom from Jua and become their own indendent Kingdom)

    Scene 1 -- The Lazy Jackle

    At a table in the back, Sandy sits under low light. She is brought some food. She offers to buy you all a round of drinks and asks you what have you been able to find out?
    -They are catching a show at THE LIMELIGHT ASSEMBLY HALL. (there is a pretty good band playing - up and coming bard troupe called ROUGE AGAINST THE REALM.)
    -Then the prince is going to quill a few autographs after the show.
    -Then dinner at Oscar's.
    -Then Priest Azul is going to do Midnight Mass after which he will present Nahix in a show of friendship to Prince Shalo. Prince Shalo is to say how this is the first step into making De La Sol a free nation.
    -Nahix is to remain in Shalo's custody with his Dragonborn Guards and they are schedule to leave De La Sol from the west road and travel by carriage back to the Captial of Jua at sunrise. -The Raids start an hour before Prince Shalo arrives and should right before they go to dinner.

    Players can pick the detail they want to be assigned to.
    There mission is to save the Prince Shalo, kill Nahix and Bolosa.

    King Shalo's Arrival

    The Limelight Assmebly Hall

    In the King's suite, Reginald Reyydark - the High Elf - welcomes Priest Azul and General Bolosa and the King of the Kingdom of Jua, Shalo to their show this evening. This is going to be a great performance and he hopes his majesty will sign the playbill for the cast after the show. **PC ASSIGNED** is placed inside of the booth with King Shalo, and for 3 MPs, 2 Officers, and 5 of Jua Elite Dragonborn Guard.
    Right before the show begins, Shalo whispers to Bolosa.
    Stealth or Sleight of Hand Check DC 13 w/advantage.
    "This is a nice gesture but I only came for Nahix. My father has said no gesture is worth De La Sol becoming a free state." Priest Azul attempts to raise his voice, "the money we have paid you in taxes, Jua could build its own golden walls." Prince Shalo says, "let us not bicker tonight. This is a good night. Let us discuss this more at dinner, I look forward to dining at Oscar's."

    Among the gemstones and other valuable trenkets in this chest you hear something calling to you in faint, faint voice. "PC's name".
    Attune to me. I was placed in this hole many years ago. I seek vengeance. Pledge your service to Tharizdun The Chained God and have unfathomable power.
    [spoiler] a +3 Longsword, which deals psychic damage instead of slashing damage. When you hit a target with it, that target must succeed on a DC 15 wisdom save or takes an extra 1d12 psychic damage suffering from visions of madness. If the person fails by more then 10 they also gain a form of madness until they complete a long rest.
    The Sword gives you 3 Levels in Warolock and is Chaotic Evil.
    The sword's luminous blade emits bright purple in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. While the blade persists, you can use an action to expand or reduce its radius of bright and dim light by 5 feet each, to a maximum of 30 feet each or a minimum of 10 feet each.
    [spoiler]The Sword is also attuned to a chaotic evil diety that Vaydark warned you about.
    This is Tharizdun. I serve the great and powerful Bael. My wish is to be free and bring about his reign of fire and terror. However, in order to free me a being of equal power must take his place in this realm.

    Tharizdun will tell you that any high ranking member of House Liabon would be the perfect choice to strike down.

    Taking three chest out of the house is going to be rather difficult, if any of the guards see you they are sounding the alarm.

    Telling them Bolosa is dead will only cause more anchary, and the guards will now want the chest for themselves.

    Scene 2 -- The Raids

    Our heroes will be asked to do three raids. No matter who, on the first raid, they will slice the oppositions throat and throw all who are caught in the raid in the back of a carriage.
    These will be three very sync'd raids.

    RAID - Tommy

    The Snooty Booty Brothel
    Tommy is in there with a few girls and some 12 Bandits.
    This is a full-on raid with 25 Military Police and 2 Officers.

    RAID - Rengoll

    Meat Packing district
    Rengoll and 20 bandits are moving boxes when the raid happens. He is no dummy. Surrendors.

    At the Textile Mill
    Carmen (Level 14 Sorcerer) unpacks boxes with her 15 Bandits and 3 mages. She will not go down without a fight.
    This is a full-on raid with 25 - Sandy is on this raid. Military Police and 2 Officers.
    Carmen utters the words: "You can't kill me! If you do General Bolsa will have your head. Call him, he'll tell Priest Azul needs me alive, because he wants us to kill Prince Shalo."

    Having someone call General Bolsa you learn that General Bolsa under Priest Azul's orders want Prince Shalo dead in anmbush tomorrow morning before Prince Shalo leaves - using Carmen and two of her Sorcerers
     

    Dinner at Oscars

    The lights dim and the show begins. INSIDE THE KITCHEN: Zurk and his men chefs are frantically trying to get the meat and potatoes ready. Zurk taste everything befor it goes out.
    As the show begins there is a plate of food being delievered to their rooms.
    After the show there is a standing obvation.

    Dining at Oscar's: Top Floor

    Then the top floor, the roof, only has 5 tables. This is where General Bosolar eats with his guest.
    General Bolosa, King Shalo, and his 10 Elite Dragonborn Guard (he travels with) all sit to hit. This is a fun night. A traveling band, THE GOBLIN NIGHTS preform. There are dancer, provided by Hustler's Palace.

    The dagger calls out to you. In order to use this dagger, you have to attune your soul to this dagger. In order to get your soul back you have to go into the dagger and fight all of the slain enemies of the weapon. The Dagger is designed to take down celiestials.

    The King's Ambush

    Nahix (+8 to Dex) is in the carriage. King Shalo (+5 to Dex) believes this is a beautiful day. You're carriage is with them when you hear sorring through the sky is massive massive fireball / or Desinigration (Level 7). Make a Dex Saving through.

    Walking up behind the King's Perssession is Gen. Bolosa and the two Pixies (if you didn't kill Gen Bolosa). General Bolosa is wobbly, the effects from the Poison have not warn off, but nothing can keep him from accomplishing his mission.
    DM NOTE: The three raid take place minutes before the ambush. Carmen's Raid - King's Ambush 5 Rounds.
    Tommy and Rengoll's Raid - King's Ambush 10rounds (with mounts) 15 rounds without it (who is at full health but still under the Poisoned condition).

    Fight With Gen. Bolsa, Nahnix, and Saving King Shalo

    Upon saving the kings life, Shalo could never repay this and owes you a life debt. He tells you to arrange a visit to the captiol city of Sha (Chi), where he will have your reward waiting for you.
