CHAPTER 1: Story 1: An Act of Faith
OVERVIEW
Welcome to the realm of Kismet! The realm of FATE AND DESTINY. Everyone here has a fate. Everyone here has a destiny. The known world drifted between chaos and order - until the first civilization - The Kingdom of Jua. Built by the gods themselves, and order was given to Kismet for the first time. The nations separated and were given different abilities. Jua The First Kingdom, the land of education and religion. Where the rumored GOLDEN CITY is hark those with much tenacity (+2 Wis) and dex (+1).Those who hark from Liabon carry a dark secret but have mastered the art of music and entertainment. The Winter Event of the Seasons is held every year by house Liabon. Those who hark from this kingdom receive +2 Charisma / +1 Wisdom.
Those who hark from Milele or Reservist play their cards close to the chest if you will. There is always an angle to work. +2 Dex / +1 Con. Those who come from the Mito Mitatu are strong warriors. Strength is their gift. Many have been known to share a few laughs, too. +2 Strength / +1 Dex / +1 Charisma.
IN THIS CAMPAIGN
In this campaign, our heroes will uncover secrets. Face foes both old and new. Meet interesting characters. Fight many, many bad guys. Go shopping at the many different magic shops. And fight or talk your way out of fighting dragons! In the desert campaign, there is a dragon, a very powerful one that I suggest you stay clear of because you do not want to fight it.This campaign will also have a thieves guild. Hopefully, you have a criminal contact.
There is a portion of the campaign that will help you if you can talk to plants or animals as well. Not everyone can be a druid, but it helps if you have some druid-like qualities.
There is at least one beholder, a slue of sea elves, who rescues a merman and uncovers a secret plot that, well, let's just hope you can dodge fireballs.
With all that said, I hope I have given you some insight into how to build your character.
WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF JUA
In Jua, the first Kingdom, AKA the Kingdom of the Sun and the land of the 5 Kings there has been a tomb has been robbed. The Tomb of the first King of House Liabon, the founder of the Kingdom of Liabon. His temple was found demolished and descrated. The guards of the temple where found dead.Every theives guild, bounty guild, and mercanry that has heard of the Kingdom of Jua is looking for the stolen artifact.
The only people who have knowledge of the temple of Liabon are people from the state of Liabon, and they are not known for being World Travlers. Many of them stay in the misty and murky and dark state of Liabon. Not many have even seen the residetns of Liabon.

ACT I
Recruiting Heroes
Welcome to the REALM OF KISMET in The Kingdom of Jua. Those who know this tropical paradise also know of the many different religious sects, including the Holy Crusaders, who worship Jua, the sun god. Summer in the kingdom is one to behold. Travelers come for the Summer solstice gathering in the oasis. Others come to find MYTHICAL GOLDEN CITY of JUA, while others come to find peace, prosperity and religion.
Jua is known for its desert oasis that also holds many bands of raiders. Jua is also known for GOLDEN CITY, which no one has laid eyes on, and is believed to be the birthplace of the JUA himself.
With the many different villages, towns, and cities in Jua they all peril in comparison to the 4 great PRYAMIDS.
These Pryamids hold the burial chambers of the Four Great Kingdoms and their leaders. JUA, MILELE, MITO MITATU, and LIABON. These temples are the crown jewel of Jua. The first one was errected to Jua in the 1st Age. Now the 3rd age (750 years), people come just to get a view of the pyramids.
WELCOME TO BAKKU
Bakku is small village. Not much goes on here. It sits on the cusp of fertile land to the southeast and desert, everywhere else. Bakku is only a 2day journey to the capital city of Jua. Where you will find all of the religious temples, bathhouses, spas, tea shops, textiles, and everything you could want. But in Bakku, you find a trading hotbed for radiers and marauders. The village is small, newcomers are spotted immediately. Regulars are welcomed.Those who are regulars know about the Goblin problem. The Goblins stay away from the capital city, but every where else is fair game. There are many radiers in the desert but the goblin hoarde is one you do not want any problems with. Adventures and Mercinaries have been coming to BAKKU to try and get and audience with Ashanti. House Liabon is a very rich house and 2 weeks ago, their pyramid was desecrated and imploded. The security of Jua's investigation prooved to be goblins, but those who call House Liabon home, belive it to much more.

INTRODUCING OUR CHARACTERS
Where would everyone like to start? There is the Market, a tavern, an inn, and THE tea shop. In the town square there are a few wanted posters of known pirates, goblins and even the Goblin King. Baaku is a town where people come to hide and escape. No one chases down criminals here. Even if they are well known. The town doesn't have a police presence but the presence of House Liabon is enough to cause folks to act like responsible citizens.

This is Ashanti's Tea Shop and she will do a Tarot Card reading for anyone from House Liabon.

Travelers and business folks are in the inn along with a few guides.
PERCEPTION CHECK DC 8 -- you know these guides are not guides but at a glance at their hand you see a pyramid inclosed in a sun. THE YELLOW PHOENIX HORDE. If pirates are known on the sea, then the Yellow Phoenix Horde are the pirates of the desert.
HISTORY CHECK DC 10 -- You know that the Yellow Phoenix Horde is a worshiper of ARWAN, god of life and death.

Once you come outside you see the HOUSE LIABON PYRAMID IS CURMBLING.DC 12 Con Saving Throw or take 3d6 fire damage - half on a success.
BAKKU City 40x60 There are 8 Goblins running away with 2 barrels of water.
As you arrive at the Sippin' Liabon you see the back of the building has been blasted off. The three dragon born guards are badly hurt. You can see that one of them has a broken arm and the other has a gash on his neck and needs a healer quickly. He will be dead in 3 turns as he is losing a lot of blood.

The Goblins would never tell you who they are working for. Those who are caught, quickly slit their throats. In The Name of Zairel!!!!
Trying to make sense of everything is MADAM ASHANTI, the Liabon Elf and owner of this establishment. In the finest black and red dress and an tribal peircing going from her nose to her ear, she sits in the chaos to great you. (Island Accent) "Sorry for the inconvience, we had a few ruffiens come through my establishment and stole this months sipment of fresh water."
There are only a few town malitia here to investigate.
What would the Party like to do: The town guard believe this to be the work of the Goblin King. He lives deep in the desert and once he gets a hold of any items here in any of the villages they are lost.
Ashanti and her Dragonborn guard who bore witness call BULLSHIT. The believe it was her rival, Farmer Joe. He supplies water to the goblin tribes and other neferious gangs in the desert. She asks you to bring Farmer Joe and his accomplises back to her for further questioning.
Question Farmer Joe, I will clean up here, if you can deliver my water back, I will give you 5gp per barrel each.

On the SouthEastern part of town there is a small farm. The farm looks vacant except for a lot of chickens and one MASSIVE, MASSIVE, MASSIVE Red barn in the back. The barn is at least (Perception Roll + Int Mod DC 15) 20 feet tall, with a 15 foot bar door.Farmer is Joe is very nice and polite. There are many cults in the desert. Yes he does have a relationship with them but he doesn't steal for them.
There is a modest size home. In the back tending to the pigs in the back is a Firborg.

Farmer Joe and three kids run and get into a covered wagon. (Peception Check DC 14) You can see the Water in the back of the wagon, however, you hear a loud roar coming from the barn. Bursting through the door is a GIANT FIRE BREATHING CHICKEN and you hear Farmer Joe yell, ringing the dinner bell yelling, "TIME TO EAT MILDRED"!!!

Act II
House Liabon Keeper
Scene 1
Ashanti is thankful you bringing back the head of Joe the farmer. Her bodyguards are stand always at the ready.Joe was an old competitor who gave way to the goblin tribes. By no means are the Goblins and goblin supporters the only threat in the desert but he is a big threat. She asks for his head and takes his head into the cellar where she tells you, "I need to asks him a few questions."
Ashanti knows everything going on in the desert.
A third bodyguard walks up with a sack of gold. She gives the gold to the Cleric. There are 32gp in there (for all of you). Her third Bodyguard takes the head and goes back into the cellar.For Araignée safe return:
Ashanti's Mission
"I know you didn't kill the bodyguard out of the kindness of your heart. You want House Liabon reward (The reward is tickets as honored guest to the Fall equonix festival 6 months from now, as well as property in the Liabon kingdom and 1000gp / each). Something is amidst in the realm and Agents of House Liabon and Jua have tasked Ashanti, the most versed of these Agents to uncover what is admist in these lands.
It all started when our Araignée, a desert guide in Siset and a member of house Liabon took into a hortoculturist ****DERRICK'S FORMER BUSINESS PARTNER**** on an expedition.
Araignée manged to get a message back saying the kept talking about Janthiam and retribution. He kept asking him about his dieties and telling how we weren't meant to be ruled and how to take our power back. When they reached a goblin camp, the man turned Araignee over to the SORAC the Goblin King in exchange for the riches at the Liabon Temple.
Your mission is to find the Araignée, who is probably still being held captive in the goblin camp, and find who destoried our temple, and what was stolen. When you get to the temple throne room, Ashanti wants you to send a sending (She hands a spell of SENDING) and she will SCRY you to help you take an inventory. Ashanti will give you 100gp for Araignée safe return and his family is offering 200gp/total for his safe return. For an accurate inventory list of what was stolen Ashanti will give you another 100gp/each and for the safe retun of missing items (if not damaged) ONE ticket (there are four of you, if you want four tickets you will have to continue to do jobs for her) to the Kingdom Liabon Fall Cabere't.
Araignée is just a child 38 year old Elf at The Academy of Jua who was a desert guide to earn extra coin. Araignée was a mapmaker.
You will probably need a desert guide. There are guides in Siset. Fairly priced. Some haven't been corrupted by the YPH (Yellow Phoenix Horde) or The Goblin Tribes.
The tribe who robbed me was the Batiri Tribe. That would be a great place to start. You might also think of taking a stop in The Capitol City to see Araignée professor. Araignée did study map making and maybe his professor could have a more updated map than your guide. Maybe not. (PERCENTAGE DIE).

Scene 2: Finding the Batiri Tribe
The Village of Siset
This village looks like an open air market. If you would like to trade there is someone here that would gladly trade with you. Antique shops, magic shops, but nothing here looks like it can be trusted. Everything looks stolen, or collected from the desert. This trading post is the home to many gangs, thugs, scum and villany, and but their are a few upstanding in the crowd.As you walk into town, there is a Blind Gnome sitting on a stool, he holds his hat out, his eyes, sparkle with diamond. Inside of his hat are a few copper pieces. As you walk by he says, "Hello, travelers? Do you mind if I bother you for a copper piece or two. I would like to get an apple."
BLIND GNOME
The Blind Gnome (NIDRID) has studs in his eyes, because he sold his eyes for food. His son takes care of him, but right now, he's traveling in the desert. He's do back any day now. Can I trouble you to look on my head, I fear someone may have stolen my hat. (they did)
Oooooo those bandits! The Yellow Phoenix Horde. Siset is overrun with these bandits!!! Theives that live in the desert. If you get me my hat back, I will have son take you on your journey into the desert, for me. I don't have much money but my son is does pretty well from his excursions into the desert. Plus, you smell like adventures and no one comes to Siset unless they are looking for adventure or trouble.
"My hat was purple and orange pointy thing. Find me hat, and I'll talk to me son."
Helping the Blind Gnome
Sitting at a table are 3 men and 1 Woman (*Perception Check -- 2 elves (Level 3/fighter), 1 black dragonborn (Level 3/Monk), and 1 Dwarf (Level 3/Barbarian)*) eating a plate of roast duck, drinking ale, and wearing some rather fine clothes, but they still look like bandits. The Blind Gnome is greatful. He tells you his son has returned. He gives a rather heavy dragon gold scale. He pulls out of his pouch with no problem. If you take it make a strength check DC 18 to hold it. (The scale ways a quarter ton. 500 pounds.) The Blind Gnome tells you to give this to his son the half-orc named TAFU. That way he will know it is from me. Check the market or the tavern. He loves a good drink.

At the Ale and Water Merchant, you see, (PERCEPTION CHECK DC 8) in the back the only half-orc you have seen all day. Drunk and smells like rotten pig shit. He drunks like a sailor and there are about 8 empty mugs and they keep coming as he is trying to conduct business with two VERY VERY WEALTHY looking travelers. Ara would precieve their clothing as a very wealthy family or house in Mito Mitatu.Tafu *7'4 half-orc (Fighter level 8)*:
These wealthy travelers are offering him 15gp a day to take them to The Oasis. For a good time. It is a twelve day journey to The Oasis and back, by SAND BOAT!
Tafu is not passing that up. It doesn't matter if it is a favor for his dad. (Persuasion DC 13. Intimidation DC 15.)
The Wealthy Travelers are too afraid to get tied up into some Goblin business and will either travel alone or take their business elsewhere.Show spoilerTafu thinks it would be wise for the travelers to have adventures with them, as they can help keep them safe from the dangers of the desert. He tells you they will need some gear to cross the desert first. The only gear shop in town is The Capitol City.You can convience Tafu and the Wealthy Travelers that having an adventuring party with them is worth the risk of fighting off attackers. Getting Gear
Tafu tells you and the Wealthy Travelers that you will all go together. You will need gear. He gets all of his gear from the Xing Desert Shop.You will need a Sand Boat, to rent. He normally takes travels into the Capitol City to get a sand boat. Those can be rather pricey. There are two boat sellers in town, Monty and Lucious. The closes shops are in the Capitol City.
Tafu would also tell you, it is a good idea to talk to Nathan Lu, a Gnome at the Academy. He is a good friend and has mapped more of the desert than Tafu has. He knows a lot about the desert cults, feuds, sandworms, dust mephits, and dragons in the desert. Tafu says any knowledge he can give can be helpful and if you get into any trouble, just say "Cool Moe T!" - he will take you to his magic emporium. Tafu is going to get a drink.

Trina and Basil would like Lucious boats better, because they are made and cristened in Mito Mitatu. Because of this they will offer to split the sailboat. They will pay for their days travel 150gp, to the Oasis. However, they will not pay for their travel.

Capitol City of Jua Down Time Activites
CLICK HEREWalking into the city, you see a long line of Tiefling refugees. There are guards checking them and yelling, Refugees to the right! Everyone else to the left. Tafu takes you and says they are going to the left. We are travelers.
At the gate the Tafu has no trouble getting in, he says they are travelers and they are only in Capitol City for one day, two tops. The Guard stamps his passport and says they are you're responsibility.
The captial city is massive. The is a hustle and bustle of people moving throughtout the city. Tieflings stand agazed at the people moving thorughout the town square. There are all sorts of races here in the town. Human, Halfling, Half-Orc, and Bugbear. The town is majority human but the capital city is a melting pot. Well policed. Buildings made of sand and clay the touch the sun but cast shadows on alleys. An ankle deep river runs through the town. A City offical yells in front of a directional post, "REFUGEES HEAD TO HOAR'S TEMPLE."
Tafu knows where he is going and expects you to keep up. He asks where are we going first? Or do we just want to meet in the town square in 3 hours?
The Academy is to the north. Monty's sand boat shop is to the north, and Lucious Sand Boat Shop is the south. THE TAVERN is to the east, the Castle is to the West.
There is also a wanted poster and missing persons posters on a board as a town cryer gives the news of the dar. PRINCE SHALO DECLARING ALL CITIES UNDER KINGDOM RULE SANCTUARY CITIES. THE ROYAL WEDDING OF THE YEAR BETWEEN PRINCESS ZUMI AND BARRUKE. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CENTURIES THE JIKOT EMPIRE IS OPENING THEIR DOORS TO OUTSIDERS. REFUGEES SQUAT IN HOUSE OF MISSING FAMILY, ALSO GO MISSING! (SEE SIDE QUEST FOR MISSING FAMILY)

Crisis in Jua Desert

Jua is in the middle of a crisis. Nomadic desert tribes of Gnomes, Tieflings, and Halflings, have been fleeing the safety of their villages because of the YPH and Goblin battles. The Capitol City of Jua has issued an ordiance by decrea of the Jua Royal Family to all subsequent city states to let all desert refugees into their city walls.
Many citizens of The Capitol City have been pushing back with against the refugees. There just isn't enough room in the city. The lower city is overrun, and the mid city is starting to get the overflow. There has a been an uptick in crime. The residents of Jua have blamed it on the Nomads, but the Nomads believe some of the more unsaviory citizens are using them to commit hanius crimes.
Many citizens of The Capitol City have been pushing back with against the refugees. There just isn't enough room in the city. NEWT ONLY -- You would also know that the Dwarven Kingdom, Jikot is a warrior kingdom. Hill Dwarves who are desert miners and warriors. However, the Kingdom of Coya is a diplomatic kingdom that holds a lot of secrets.
The Guards cross their spears and battleaxes. They do not say a word. Off to the side are the two Captains (HP 31). The Dragonborn Captain politely asks, "The future Queen Mother of our kingdoms is picking flowers for her wedding, please give them a few minutes."
30minutes. They still need time. Flower shopping. You know how it is.
30minutes. Still no sign of them moving inside.
The Captain will not answer who is getting married but he will only say the Kingdom of Jikot and the Kingdom of Coya.

The towns are not as big or as religious as Jua, but there is a giant Volcano near their village that some of the townfolk still believe gives them speical powers.Their names are TRINA and BASIL. Trina tells you, you should stay in the Oasis for a bit, they have extra mask. They will even pay your ticket into the orgy.

Tafu takes the helm. He knows exactly where he is going. He believes it will be safer to leave the boat docked at the Oasis, and to pick it up after they get what they need from The Batiri Tribe.
Yellow Phoenix Revenge

After your fight with the Yellow Phoenix Horde, you make you to the Oasis. Do you choose to spend the night here?You are welcomed by 3 beautiful elven women and three beautiful elven men. Journey to Batiri Tribe
After traveling NORTH WEST for 6 or 8 hours, you hear barking and yelping in the distances. It's almost night, about the time you should be turning in. PERCEPTION CHECK DC 10 -- You spot 3 Worg feasting on a what looks to be a corpse in the distances. About a mile or a half mile away. You know, Goblins are close.Here in the open desert there is no where to hide. Tafu will tell you, its best to park the boat here, cover ourselves in sand, but if you feel any tremors, run, haul ass. Sandworm is coming. And it's sandworm mating season too, so we might run into some babies or we might run into momma, either way, their venom can us all down, just by watching someelse get ate. They are normally dormate at night though.
Tafu's suggestion, sneak in, get who you need to get and get the fuck out.

A camp of Hobgoblins, Goblins, and Worgs. They are mean sons-of-bitches. Once they get past Kafsi Kin, it's a day journey maybe 2 through the sand storm. People go in, but no one come out. This Goblin Stronghold does not look any better than Batiri, but these Goblins see your boat and they present themselves has hostile as you are trying to make your way through. Worgs bark at your ship. The Goblin General approaches, his chest puffed out, one eye goughed out, he has no fear! And he demands the boat it will be a fine prize for the Goblin King. (Xac will polymorph into a dragon to help win this fight.)

Everything the writer found lead her to Port De La Sol. While he was in De La Sol he got to eat Dinner at Omar's with General Bolsa and other religious leaders. General Bolsa spoke of 4 ancient relics used to bring back 4 avatars (but never named them ****Put this in Ashanti/Aaron's spill in Chapter 4***). The Journals abruptly stop, as was on her way his way to Liabon for the Fall Equonix party as Ashanti's Guest. These books were written about 15 years ago.
SAND STORM AND Fighting the Dust Memphits
There is no way around this duststorm and it is between you and Nasir Mmoja. Tafu gives a sending stone to Xac just incase everyone gets seperated. It is stained with ale.Approaching you from the north (Intelligence Check DC 8), is a 10 mile wide dust storm. DEX SAVE (DC 8 -- take 1d6 damage) sand and dust start to kick up. Tafu tells you
The wind kicks up, blocking out the sun. Pellets of sand come through. The boat is lifted in the air as the 80 mph winds wipe through the boat. Planks on the boat start to come up as winds ripe and rage around you. The boat has 30 hp and it fails all of its save but it can be repaired.

After the storm
As the winds rage the boat hall cracks almost splitting the boat, just on the other side of the sand storm is the sun. Tafu knows the storm is almost over, and to hang on. The boat is trusted in the air. Make a Con Save DC 15 (This will determine where you land). If you fail, you land near the cave w/Xac. If you succeed you land near A Nasir Mmoja (w/ Tafu).MADEYE SIDE QUEST
Set up: You have been out for an hour. In the horizon You see the ship, completely submurged by sand. It can be dug out but it will take days to dig it out by hand, unless you have mold earth spell. Then you can magically move the sand, or our allow it, if it is done creatively.But to your suprise you see the mouth of a cave. Perception Check DC 5. You hear a loud grunt, snore, whatever is in that cave is huge. By the entrance you see covered in the dirt three dead kobolds. They where a blue cloak with a crest (crest of tiamat). All of the Nomdic tribes you see are very closely knit. The GUARDS hoarde everyone to different locations called, "THE REFUGEE ZONE" a part of the lower city that is now over run with Desert Tribes.

The Goblins and the YPH used their village as a battle ground. It took them roughly 20 days to journey to the Capitol City. Capitol City is much more accomodating. Jikot is requiring refugees to take up arms in the Orc conflict while Grimm Bay and Wander Port have demanded refugees help with the pirate probelm around their boarders, leaving many to die. Prince Shalo is scheduled to make a decision of the Tiefling Refugees can stay in the city or if we will have to be nomadic and be banned from Jua all together.
You are told to talk to Raxulus. RAXULAS (Tiefling) -- Leader of the Su Wan Desert tribe and the defacto leader of the Nomdic desert tribes. He is currently dealing with an issue at THE SAINT'S PICKLE (a rundown inn across from the temple of SUNE).

The Saint's Pickle
A number of guards surround the outside of the temple. They are not letting anyone in. You see the clear leader, Raxulus, a purple and black Tieflings, young in age, and his horns haven't fully started to curl yet. He looks to be in his early 20s but he sounds like a grown man. Those in the crowd cheer his every word.
The Guards say they will find a new place for them but the SAIN'T PICKLE has closed their doors to them. Moans come from the crowd. Raxulul says they did not do anything wrong. Many of the desert tribes worship Sune and the celestials of Jua. This is wrong.
Raxulus tells you that one of their own ANNA BEE, is being held captive for the slaughtering of nine priest. Raxulus knows Anna Bee. She is a Tiefling and a member of his tribe. He has handled tribal disputes for years, but the guards are holding her without just cause and are set to execute her with out a due trial.
Raxulus believes you can help. Find evidence. Any evidence that Anna Bee did not do this and help me prove her innocence.
The First place to check would be the Murder Scene -- THE SOUL SHRINE.

Quoben knows what the YPH and the Goblins do to bodies and from everything he saw, it was neither one of there tribes. The only person he can think of that would possibly know what happened is Anna Bee. She might be possessed. There is only one way to know. Interview her yourself. You can't walk straight into the prison. You'll have to take the sewers. If she is possessed find out possessed her and why.
But if he had to put his money on it, it would be the cult of Jathiman. A cult he encountered once in the desert that was ruthless. Traveled in small bands. They could possess an entire town in days. Quoben believes that someone from this cult killed Father Lee.
The Sewers
The sewers glow a bright green color. The smell of acid and posion. Walking in the water is 2d4 damage. You hear loud roars. There is something else in this sewer with you. The walks are sticky and slimey. PERCEPTION CHECKS DC 10 -- on the walls of the sewer you see Giant Leeches. They are about the size of your forearms.There is a man covered in poison and leeches. He is clearly in prisoners clothing. He can help you get out of here but first he needs help. Approaching are two giant crocodiles. 2 Crocodiles. 5 Giant Leeches.
The Guards are looking for him. "Please do not turn me in." he begs.1 Giant Croc. 2 Crocs. 5 Giant Leeches. 3 Guards.
He escaped his cell because the new prison they brought in kep speaking abysal. My Abyssal is weak but I kept making out one word. Celestial. The cops and guards have no idea what they she is yammering about. He notices the halo of Ara. He says you are touched by the Celestials. You should talk to her! (He is clearly talking about Anna Bee)
You see 3 guards covered by the giant leeches. They need help. The leeches have gotten under their armor. They are looking for an escaped prisoner.
Questioning Anna Bee
Security is tight around her holding cell. No one except the higher ups are allowed to see her.Anna Bee sits alone in her sell. Her eyes in the back of her head. She chants the ancient language of the hells, Abyssal. "We will drink the blood of all the gods."
When she sees Ara and Lt. Stygian - Anibis turns to you. She speaks in Celestial, "you and your kind have wrong Jathiman - for that you all shall pay!"
Jathiman looks to kill all the celestial beings. No one shall stop Jathiman. Then in an instance she ignites herself and DEX SAVE DC 15 - 10d6 (half on a save). DM Rolls for 5 officers in the room. 10 officers in the building.
MISSING FAMILY
In the past Month, 3 families in Jua have gone missing. The Doles (Human / Upper City) did some traveling and came back but were not seen for 3 days. When a squating family of refugees went missing, they reappeared as a shell of themselves. Both families are currently being studied at the university and under careful lock and key. The copy's world of infinate shadows is dying. A sun is starting to emerge and cover the world in light. The shadows need people to shield themsleves from this light, and found a magical portal that will take them to a different world.
INSIDE THE MIRROR
There is a world made completely of COPIES that is burning to the ground. The missing families are scared and they want to go back home, but inside of this dark world SHADOW creatures block the entrances.The families believe they have been here for 5 years, but it has only been a week for the Doles and a few days for the Refugee family.
The father of the Dole's, was killed by a shadow and his rotting corpse provides the only light but it is smoldering. You make out the tendrial sounds of clicks and howls. There are multipule shadows in this room. They are waiting for the light to dim.

The only way to get transported back is to kill your COPY in the real world. If you can't get back into the real world, then you will need to inhabit an avatar, kill that copy in the real world. You need to wait for someone else to look in the mirror, take over their body (WIS SAVE DC 18) and then kill the Copies in the real world.

If you are spotted, the Kobolds cannot allow you to leave because you will make a nice feast for Madeye The Exiled and her son Danger.
