Copperwood Forest
This large forest located in the country of Mymeara is named for the copperwood trees that grow there. The area spans some 30,000 acres with it's northern border roughly 20 miles south of Illadryia at it's closest point. The trees have been given that name due to the copper-red colour of the wood which is slightly mottled giving it an almost metallic effect when viewed in the right light. But this is purely a visual illusion as it is wood, not metal.
Faelyn Enclave
Deep in the middle of the Copperwood Forest are the Faelyn, an enclave of Elves. These are peaceful and joyous people, welcoming to outsiders as long as they have respect for the balance of nature. Anyone not showing the proper regard are either warned or asked to leave. Their belief is if you respect nature they will respect you, if not then you get back what you give. While diplomatic and very slow to anger, when pushed they will show themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The enclave are technically bound by the laws of Mymeara although they are given a considerable amount of leeway and left to govern themselves, due to the fact they have proven that their society do not need to be monitored by anyone and can be left to their own devices.
