With new demons collected from the thousands dead during the Age of Atrocities, Kathar the Vulture, his vampires, and his demons all moved to destroy The Pale Candle and Eresh'Ak. While they succeeded in destroying the old city, as well as Black Owl Temple, Van: The Pale Dove was too powerful for The Vulture. Activating specially prepared sealing magics, Van trapped his, as well as his brother's forces in time while also separating the base from the mortal plane. The only other person not frozen in time was The Vulture, and the two fought non-stop for over four hundred years.
