Tired of Byx's destructive empathy and Kathar the Vulture's relentless attacks, Van: The Pale Dove formed his own order as part of The Black Parade called The Pale Grace dedicated to the extermination of demons and Katharis. He and his new group coonstructed The Pale Candle as their base of operations.
