Mycil
Beneath the beaches of Avin and the orchards of Harpal spans a vast underground network of open caverns and tunnels occupied by sentient plants and elementals living in harmony together. They have druidic magic but also a divine reverence here, as they believe with certainty that their home is in close proximity to The Underworld. In fact, while the elders say that they remember the first breaths of life in the world, the younger ones sometimes recall lives lived as other life forms, which fuels their desire for isolation and peace from the surface. They believe fully in the process of re-incarnation, even believing that they themselves exist here because "The Love Below" have too many souls to attend to, and could not cleanse their souls before they were re-incarnated. The people of Mycil worship The Underworld and work to live as long as they can, so as to not trouble "The Love Below"
There are no written histories here, only oral histories passed down from the elders, though the knowledge the elders contain could be dangerous in the wrong hands, for they claim to know the locations of "She Who Sleeps" and "The Caged Son" as well as many other secrets hidden in the depths of the world.
