Led by the head of the house, a title passed down to the firstborn son of the previous head. The current head is Lord Nathaniel Redgard.

House Redgard is on the forefront of military efforts against the Fae, fronting most of the economic and human cost of recruiting, training, and utilizing the Kingdom's vast armies.

History
One of the oldest and most venerable of the great houses, House Redgard officially came into existence in 9 of The Age of Flame. The house quickly rose to prevalence shortly after its foundation by distinguishing itself in the Siege of Hearth during the War of the Faltering Flame, famously manning the ramparts and securing any breach that formed. Since then, they have worked closely with the Rona and managed the providence of Valmere since its establishment in 340 of the Age of Flame.
Since then, the house has seen remarkable success, having come to witness a dynasty of great Warmasters from both itself and its vassal houses. The modern House Redgard is a military powerhouse, and easily one of the most influential factions in Kingdom politics.
