Graugr Monvida Hatch (a.k.a. Grey Owl)

Graugr is the proprieter of the Crowded Owl, the oldest inn in Deephole. This is partially because 83 years ago the town burned mostly to the ground, and his inn was a half-mile outside town. 
Graugr is congenial, but a no-nonsense businessman. He has owned, ran, and lived under the Crowded Owl for nearly 130 years, and the town has slowly moved in on the inn, much to Graugr's annoyance.

In relatively good shape, if a little round. Graugr walks with a slight limp and, as a dwarf, was never the fastest to begin with.

Personal history

Graugr was trained from a young age in the art of disabling traps and locks. Once he was out of his apprenticeship, he believed he was set for a life of adventure. 
Unfortunately, on his third dungeon crawl, a scythe trap nearly severed his left leg. The party cleric tried to put him back together, but only barely was able to. His left leg ended up losing a half-inch of length. The resulting limp he developed nearly cost him his life on no less than 4 occasions over the rest of that dungeon. Graugr decided to hang it up. 
With the money he had, and a generous loan from the rest of the party, he was able to set up an inn in the new settlement of Deephole.

Likes & Dislikes

Graugr hates cities. When the Crowded Owl was built, it was a half-mile outside Deephole, and even with that, Graugr felt very crowded by the number of people he saw on a regular day. It has slowly lessened to a dull annoyance over the last 120 odd years.

Wealth & Financial state

Graugr is at this point independently wealthy, he has considered selling the Crowded Owl and moving out of Deephole , but does not have anywhere specific to move to.
