Wall of Condemnation

Purpose / Function

The wall serves as a temporary lock-up for criminals, perpetrators or suspects to await their judgement in a location which is supposed to be secure from potential breakouts, assassinations or other intruders on justice. It also directly serves Highcourt by being the odd go too prison for criminals of higher repute, such as governors, high aristocracy or war criminals. Although many do not wish to aknowledge that nobility is overrepresented both behind bars and as the judges and jury, which screams of a breeding ground for corruption.

Architecture

The wall is called a wall for how it was built. Rows on rows of cells were hollows carved into the rock wall of the Judgements Head cliff and had steel doors smacked over the entires, which face out towards the abyss of the sea and a lethal reef underneath which makes it near impossible to survive a fall. The small plot of land which stretches a hundered or so meters from the rows of locks and cages and the drop isn't secured with fences either, but has only a single, stone gray guardhouse built between rock walls as a security measure for the prisoners and their entrypath to Highcourt.

Defenses

The prison itself doesn't have mych in the terms of defence, as the only ways to escape is through the courtroom itself and the lethal crashing waves underneath. However, in the unlikely circumstance that someone should attempt to rescue or kill a prisoner by flightborne mounts, there are a few towers which guard the cliff wall with harpoons, cannons and rifles.
