Condemning lights

The man walked forth with closed eyes. The light scorching at his skin as he with arms outstreched let the tendrils of light wrap around the cloth of his robes. He could feel the stinging sensation burning warmth run through his body, as an orb, a core of pure holy light rose from the shining glow that cascaded within the cracks in the ground.
The core pressed onwards to his chest, pushing through skin and flesh as it burned a hole to his heart and etched itself within. His veins lit up with a golden shine, as the tendrils wrapped harder around his arms, marking him with runes of pure divine might. His neck forced to twitch up towards the sky, as he unleashed a shriek of agony while three beacons of light burned through his throat and eyesockets. His iris and whites slowly melting out as a spark lingered within.
Breathing a last mortal sigh from his lips, the man fell down on his knees. The hole to his heart now closed by a golden gem, while from his back sprouted the six tendrils like angels wings. He closed his burned out hollows where tears of melted eyes ran down his cheeks. Then his eyelids opened up with orbs of white flame shone within.
He then spoke, his lips shut and tongue still, though the words echoed with fury. "Conquest, I will fight for your endless reign."

Manifestation

The phenomen appears like tendrils of pure light which burn with sentient flame through cracks in the soil. They appear to be of a divine magical origin which forms a sort of living and breathing fire, in both terms of a creature and the scientific term of oxygen feeding the flame. Almost like the Divine Judgement which struck gave a soul to a smoldering core forged from the holy energy, earth and soil.
It's known to be sentient as almost anyone who come too close with the glowing tendrils will be assailed by lashings, rippings and an attempt from the blindly shining lights to latch onto a victim and crawls inside underneath their skin, thus spreading pure light through their veins which burns darkness out from them.

Localization

The light is only localized within the territory of Dawnshire, as the light sources are linked with the Divine Judgements caused by the Zealstorm, which makes it unique for the area.
