Arcana Beansprout

This Beansprout is a simple as flora gets. It is easily discerned is by the four large heartshaped leaves, all too perfectly aligned to a cross on the stalk to be fully natural, while the stalk itself reaches a short distance above it's leaves. From the top of the sprout a twin set of large pods hang like an anchor, which looks like some odd combination between a pea pod and beanstalk.   That the plant wasn't natural to the world wasn't discerned from it's alien perfect shape though, but how the plant seems to adapt to any climate and any enviromental change during the seasons. As long as there is an amount of wild magic in the air, the beansprout thrives in it's vicinity where it lives from an odd mutation where it forms photosynthesis from magical aspects in it's vicinity rather than plain sunlight. Although light does work as well. Hence why it is always perfectly immune to any extreme climate, as it's borrowed aspect protects it from heat, cold and anything else which might be dangerous towards normal plants.   As a fun fact, the beans are nutrient rich and fully edible, both raw and cooked. Though it took a full fifteen years before the beans actively put itself in nearly every peregonian cookbook, as it's origin caused the populace hysteria about potentially dangerous consequences of digesting the magical beans. Even though several mage circles and royal alchemists had studied and confirmed it was harmless. Recent studies even show that the plants may have something to do with the Peregonic humans evolved capacity for magic, as it is essential in their current cullinary culture.   The beans are also often used to grind base pastes for magical remedies with, due to their ability to charge and contain mystral energy. It's silver glimmering fruits are also rather tasty and sweet, which is why they are often used as candy in a raw form. Though while still not really dangerous, scientists have confirmed eating too much of the raw deal can cause similar issues as eating too much sugar.
