White Oak Resort
A high class hot springs resort catering to nobles and wealthy merchants. Nestled in the mountains near Eagle Lake, it offers luxurious accommodations, grooming services and fine dining. Especially popular destination during the Midwinter Festival, when the entire resort is decorated with intricately decorated lanterns and the baths are perfumed with citron and exotic spices.
History
A favored vacation spot of the Shih Tsu family, it was purchased by Chen Shih Tsu in 1422 from the Shar Pei family. He set about renovations and made the resort wildly popular with the nobility.
Several Shar Peis still live and work at the resort.
