Midwinter Festival

A winter solstice festival, in honor of Saint Bernard St Bernard.
In towns with nearby hot springs, it is traditional to journey to a local hot spring carrying lemons and fragrant herbs for a hot springs bath.
For those who can't make the trek, some churches set up great communal baths of hot, fragrant, salted water.
Spiced herbal teas and hot spiced cider are traditionally drunk, and strings of fragrant citrus peels decorate homes to ward off evil. Church groups brew festive teas and distribute garlands of citrus to the sick.
