Scribe
Employed by the Historians Society, scribes are the truth-tellers of Kima. They are in charge of keeping track of the empire's history, legends, culture, and anything else that can be written down. Scribes move with total immunity, and the act of harming or threatening one is often punishable by death. The vetting process to become a scribe is also incredibly in-depth, involving months of interviews and tests to determine if someone is right for the job. They must be as unbiased as possible, capable of maintaining a level head in all manner of stressful situations, and absolutely committed to telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
