General Erin of Raymoor
Opinions on Erin are sharply conflicted among Kimans. Some believe she was a great leader, perhaps one of the greatest Kima has ever seen. Others believe that she is the cause of Kima's current, precarious position. Some worship and honor her memory, while others disparage her name and the organization she represented.
Erin was born beneath a full moon in the final month of the year, a combination considered to be sacred. Her family believed she was blessed both by Dučan, the moon, and the god of dreams and final month, Scyne. When she turned sixteen, she moved to Chema's capital city, Anstead, to become a scribe with the Historians Society. It was here that she met Shiloh, the Sage, and became his apprentice. This set her on a path that eventually led her to the Strican city of Keford, where she met a number of influential persons who would be instrumental in her fate.
Now, Erin is imprisoned under a magical curse, locked away in the Artaan Keep. Her body is frozen in time, the curse only breakable by the one who set it, though he did so unintentionally.

Erin's closest friend is Rolan, a mage apprentice she met while completing her apprenticeship in Anstead. He joined her in Keford and became a healer during the ensuing rebellion. When her forces split from Ragna's to form the Crimson Wing, she made him the head healer of the entire army.
Her second closest friend and occasional flame is Ragna, now Empress Ragna. They met when Erin visited Keford, and while the beginnings of their relationship was rocky, it solidified under Kane and Asa's mentorship. The two of them used to be nearly inseparable. Unfortunately, it didn't last long following Kane's death during the Revolution. As Ragna descended into madness, Erin withdrew and grew aloof. Their parting was violent, and every meeting since has shared that quality.
