It with the memory of our first meeting at last year's Founders Festival that I greet you! Our conversation reminded me of how much all have to be grateful for after almost 100 years on Kiannon II. Our people are healthy, we are prospering and we are beginning to expand our colony beyond our three settlements. Given our success, it is likely that we will cross the sea to explore other continents in the next 5 years!
In spite of our organizations' conflicting beliefs, we were able to sit down and discuss the future of Kiannon II together. It is with this bright future in mind, that I would like to continue our discussion of the resources recently found in the depths of the Eslen Mountains.
We believe that access to the resources would give us both the means and power needed to continue this expansion in a safe and measured way. Time is of the essence. We believe that our delay in expansion makes us vulnerable to the rise of other species and indeed of other interests landing on Kiannon II.
If this is truly the Garden of Eden that our ancestors both looked to steward responsibly, it is our duty to ensure that we increase the speed of our exploration and settlement process. I also hope to discuss the possibility of joint Scouting Expeditions to the West. Would it be possible for you to travel to Vieta, with an escort of course, so that we could conduct these negotiations in secret?
I would be personally responsible for your safety and would ensure that you are welcomed by all.
