The Silver Spire
Purpose / Function
Originally serving as the nexus of the greatest order of sun elf holy warriors, it was re-purposed into the highest sanctum and center of power for The Orthodox Church of Orion in the earliest days of Solaire. For centuries it housed candidates for Allfather from their birth to their final moments, and even since the Reformation it has remained the seat of the church's power, location for all its highest bureaucracy, and is now overseen by the High Chancellor.
Alterations
The building's structure has been unaltered since time immemorial when it was rumored to have been raised by Aina Ada himself. Vinaeus Caesar's addition of the Carillon of Dawn was an undertaking of such magical and divine potency that only now with the advent of dozens of living saints could it be replicated.
Architecture
The spire comes by its name honestly, its entire construction is molded of pure silver blessed and consecrated well beyond the concern for tarnish. The actual architecture seems to have roots in the moon elf civilization, incorporating many twists and curves into its skyward climb.
