Personal history
Canace is something of an enigma to the people of Onchamos. She bears the name of the city in her form of address, but there is seemingly no one who remembers her growing up there, or living there before a few years ago. She simply appeared one day. She lives in a small but well-kept estate outside the city and has been seen equally at home hob-knobbing with the farmers in her area and the highest nobility in the city. The only thing the people of Onchamos know for certain is her connection to horses, the ones kept on her small estate are of a higher quality than any save those in the royal stables.
[Canace was born in Onchamos to one of the high noble families at the time, but spent much of her childhood in the Shattered Empire, even attending the Imperial University. She was initially invited back to Onchamos by her childhood friend Princess Callianessa as the latest in her attempts to find a bride for her King Alpheos. It was another failure on that front, but was easily the closest to a success so far. Canace got along famously with the entire royal family, and her schooling in equestrianism and magical creatures was highly sought after due to the incredible steeds Prince Strophantes recovered on one of his expeditions. Canace has remained in the area primarily to train the mounts.]
Education
Canace attended the Imperial University in Solaire. She split her time between the Institute of Arcanism and the Zoologic Academy, spending a few extra years to graduate from both.
