Basiane is the daughter of two highly skilled not-adventurers in perhaps the most famous company in Hellenis, but neither had any real fame themselves. This offends Basiane, and she spends a significant amount of her time seeking to correct that particular injustice. She inherited a significant fortune from her parents, and is looked after quite well by their remaining companions, and so was able to afford the best tutors available to foster her innate talent for music. She is fairly widely considered one of the greatest living bards. Her planned magnum opus is an opera describing the adventures of her parents' not-adventures with their companions.
