Tritons

Originating on the Plane of Water, tritons came to Khinarzi during the Dawn Era, when they came hunting the monsters of Dasobektir. During one of these battles the tritons found themselves fighting alongside the god Quatsibek. The deity was charmed by the folks tenacity and willing to fight in defence of a land they were not native to. After the battle the god offered to be their patron, effectively adopting the tritons who would call Khinarzi home as his people. A pact was made that has survived to this day even with the gods death at the hands of the Dark One. The tritons would do as they always planned to do, defending the deep from the evil creatures who lived there but now they fought for this plane that would be their home, and in return be blessed the the god with bountiful harvests among other boons as his people.
Tritons can be found in settlements along all the coastlines of the Five Kingdoms, with some especially deep fortress cities they use in their continuing conflict with Dasobektir's children. Some can be found on the land mostly being traders or diplomats, but there are some tritons who choose to make a life for themselves and their families on the land.  Even those on land still live in some ways towards their pact with Quatsibek for you can find the tritons on land to be as steadfast in their belief in being defender of their homes and fellow citizens. But not every triton fights for all know that while some fight each individual can do their part to help their kingdoms in their own way.
