Giants & Giantkin

Giants were created by Cha'sidain in response to the beginning of the conflict between the Dawn Pantheon and Dasobektir. The giants formed some of the armies most powerful forces with some of their number being able to descend into the depths to drive off the enemy, others were made to protect the plane in other realms. Each kind of giant was made with specific purpose and with it a hierarchy of command in the form of the Ordening. Even with his death most of the giant folk maintain their place in the Ordening and their specialised functions in defence of the plane.

Firbolg

Firbolg were created to tend to the World Soul and protect the nature of the plane. They are caretakers of the land and for their functions they have a number of innate magical abilities. Firbolg are one of the giantkin bound least to the Ordening and their initial purpose.
They can be found across the settlements of the Five Kingdoms, but are mainly found around places strong in nature magic and in the Kingdoms of Mystria and Molba, often seen in the druid circles found in these kingdoms or around the World Tree in the Kingdom of Neoko.

Goliaths

Goliaths were created to tend to the land and wander the mountains that their larger kin could not reach, as protector of the plane. They are adapted to the high extremes and are generally tougher than most folk of Khinarzi. Goliaths are one of the giantkin bound least to the Ordening and their initial purpose. They are also the kind most commonly found throughout the settlements of the Five Kingdoms, each deciding their own fates and life goals.
