Courts of Blood

The Courts of Blood, are one of he higher ranked of the courts in the Legions of the Shadowlands, not has high as the Court of Masks but higher than most others. Each of these courts are mostly composed of vampires and their servants. Each court is often a vampiric bloodline, who can trace their routes back to the founder of their individual court, which in the case of some courts is also their current leader. In the lower ranks of any court are the spawn and mortal followers of the vampiric lords, each hoping to gain the favour and therefore the chance to become a fully fledged vampire and the power and prestige provided.
Each vampire is attended to by the spawn they have created and mortal servants they have gathered. Any vampire who they have made fully bloodied but is of a lower rank to them will find that while they may have their own servants, hey and their servants till serve the lord who raised them up. In this manner for the higher ranked members of he courts may have hundreds of attendants based on what the vampires they have raised in the lower ranks have managed to gather as their own power bases. Courts of Blood are rile with political power plays within their courts and with other Courts of Blood. There are less political games played with other kinds of courts as the courts below the Courts of Blood are deemed too inferior to participate, and for those courts of higher rank , the risk to the leader of the Court of Blood often means they must be sure of their choice of action before engaging in such moves.
