Labarean Crab
The Labarean Crab is a class of naval vessel, known for its maneuverability, speed and ability to sail windward. Crabs come in two sizes -- one built for gnomes and one built for larger humanoids, such as humans.
Labarean Crabs are not suitable for warfare and also have limited carrying capacity. For this reason, they are mostly employed for exploration and scouting. They can also sail in shallow waters, having a draft of 1.5 meters (5 feet).
The Labarean Crab was developed by the Labarean Empire. The famous gnome shipwright Gallimuss Clammershank designed it in 672 LC to meet the request of the Imperial Trading Company for a vessel that could do quick reconnaissance along insecure trading routes.
