The Emporium of Wonder
Structure
They're led by the Troupe Master or Troupe Madam. This person dictates where they go, which performances happen, which performers do what, and manages the day to day business of the troupe. They also see to acquiring new talent for the troupe and making sure that the troupe is happy.
Public Agenda
Their job is largely to entertain the people wherever they go. They also spread news if they have anything worth sharing.
History
Keverynn is no stranger to traveling musicians and performers, but prior to the establishment of the Emporium, there was no large scale organized traveling troupe.
Durani Feldaninn, a trained musician from Arrack-Ley, was discontented with life. It was difficult for him to find long term paying jobs. Everything he found that matched his skills only wanted a musician for a few days at most. Complaining about the situation only got him replies along the lines of if you don't like it, go somewhere else. This led him to spending the last bit of his saved money on a beaten up wagon, some food, and an old horse no one wanted anymore and setting off across Tula'tevenn Province. He sold his musical skills for a time, making just barely enough to keep himself and his old horse fed.
Over time, he encountered others like him and they banded together, increasing the variety of acts the troupe could perform. It offers music, plays, poetry readings, displays of acrobatics, and on occasion feats of magic. When they have ryuutenshi among their number they add fancy flying to their roster.
