Heaven's War

Also known amongst mortals as the Age of Migration, Heaven's War was a period of intense conflict between both gods and mortals, during which the major races of Kethenicaea all fought one another as tools in a cosmic struggle between the divine gods, claiming many mortal and even some immortal lives and causing some deities to simply fade from existence as the various pantheons jockeyed for position and supremacy. In the aftermath of this cosmic struggle and the Great Sundering, the final act of Heaven's War, the human pantheon determined they had enough of their constant war and their thoughts turned towards peace.

Between 2000 A.H and 1000 A.H, Kethencia's history was marked by the rapid expansion of humankind, who migrated throughout the world in large numbers. All across the world, human colonists and adventurers set out to make their mark on the world and inciting subsequent expeditions and adventurers from the other sentient races, leading to it also being commonly referred to as the "Age of Heroes." Small human states sprung up worldwide and consolidated, forming the first large human kingdoms and empires, and soon the most powerful human states could even rival the powerful elven and dwarven realms.   Humanity's rapid expansion also disrupted the existing balance of power between the civilized races and their gods throughout the world, and most other civilized states experienced a dark age characterized by instability, violence, and religious and racial conflicts. These crises escalated and steadily worsened, until eventually the races entered into the first Concord.
