Very Rare Requires Attunement

This 50 ft. rope has been imbued with magical sentience, and is capable of following simple commands of its attuned user. It can be animated by uttering its command word as a bonus action, and it shares your initiative count. If it does not receive an order, the rope continues to follow its last instruction. Some examples of commands include:   Grapple. As an action, the rope attempts to coil itself around a creature of large size or smaller and grapple it (Escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target creature is Restrained and the rope can't grapple another target.    Constrict. As an action, the rope attempts to constrict a creature it has already grappled and Restrained.. It makes a melee weapon attack against the creature with (+4 to hit 1d20+4 ). On a hit, the creature takes 13 (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage.    Defend. As an action, the rope coils defensively around a willing target. The target's AC increases by 1 for the round. Alternatively, the rope can absorbs half of all damage directed at this creature for the round.    Trip. As an action, the rope coils and spreads itself around the ground in a 25 foot radius. That round, as a reaction to a creature attempting to move or through its space or within, or as a bonus action if a creature is within the radius, the rope attempts to trip the creature. The creature must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity or Strength Saving throw, or be knocked prone.    Knot. As an action, the rope firmly secures itself to a point, tying itself into a knot (can be burst on DC 20).   The Living Rope has an AC of 12 and 21 (3d12+3) 3d12+3 hit points, and is destroyed if it reaches 0 hit points. It regains 1 hit point every 5 minutes as long as it is not destroyed.    The rope has a movement speed of 30 ft., a swim speed of 30 ft., and a climb speed of 30 ft.
