Segoltha River
The rushing waters of the Segoltha river flow from West to East, from its mountain spring sources far to the west of River Crossing . During the third and fourth months, the river swells to enormous levels to accommodate the massive amount of snowmelt from the mountain peaks as it makes it's way eastward towards the Reshal Sea.
The Segoltha River is a natural barrier, and has served as the unofficial landmark between the Elven lands in and around The Forest of Night and the human-controlled lands of Zoluren north of the river. Officially, all of those lands belong to Prince Roger Vorclaf , but as is the tradition of the monarchy, he allows the Elves to operate completely independently.
