Procurism

You Are Not Made, You Are Remembered

Procurism is a doctrine of dominance, inheritance, and divine right, followed by those who believe themselves to be the reincarnations of the Ancients, anointed souls destined for greatness. Strength is not just a virtue but proof of one's purity, while weakness is seen as a mark of corruption, a flaw in the bloodline that must be purged. To rise in power is to fulfill one's celestial inheritance, and to fall is to be discarded as unworthy. Procurists view the world as a proving ground, where only the strong deserve prosperity, and the weak are but fuel for the mighty. The faith manifests not in temples or prayers but in conquest, ambition, and the relentless pursuit of dominance over lesser beings.

Birth of Procurism - The Creed

Procurism was not born in revelation but in the ashes of a fallen empire. Its origins trace back to the twilight of the Ancients, a time when the greatest civilization the world had ever known crumbled under the weight of its own stagnation. In the ruins, a warlord-turned-prophet known as Solan the Precursor rose to power. He claimed that the Ancients had not perished but had instead been reborn, their souls scattered across the land, inhabiting those strong enough to seize their lost legacy.

His creed was simple

Might is divine will, the powerful are the rightful inheritors of this world.
Those who suffered, who bowed,
who lacked the strength to carve their own destiny,
these were the damned,
the tainted,
the broken echoes of a lesser bloodline.

Solan’s words spread like wildfire among warlords, slavers, and rulers seeking divine justification for their tyranny. Over time, Procurism evolved from a warrior’s creed into an entrenched belief system, reinforcing hierarchies of power and bloodlines of dominance. The weak became nothing more than tools, stepping stones for the chosen few. And so, a faith of conquest was born, one that did not seek enlightenment or salvation, but the absolute right to rule.

Purists

Among the faithful of Procurism, none walk the path with more conviction than the Purists, zealots who believe that bloodlines carry divine worth, and poverty is not just failure, but heresy. To a Purist, the world is a stage of ascension, and every transaction, every conquest, is part of the sacred sorting. They adorn themselves in golden threads and obsidian charms, not merely for display, but as symbols of their soul’s value. Charity is blasphemy; mercy is weakness; and the strong must rule, not out of cruelty, but divine necessity. If the Ancients once ruled with fire and steel, the Purists believe they are their flame reborn.

Though feared and hated across Kenshi,
The Purists are no fools...
They wear civility like a second skin,
Hiding the cruelty of their beliefs beneath silk, silver, and sanctity.
