Matir's Cauldron

The Cauldron is something to behold, one of the mighty chains that once held the city above the volcano was broken, and now the city stands vertical, held in place by the remaining one. The volcano still broils beneath it, but has yet to consume the city or break the chain.
The stories of how the chain was broken vary widely, and we'll probably never know the answer, but it is known that no one escaped the city.
