Erenvi

The first prince of Erenvi was a great sorcerer, her powers unparalleled, a natural prodigy of magic. She felt that magic was underappreciated in Ken'Ser, that those without it should be subservient to those with, and she created a city to follow those ideals.
Since then, the people of Erenvi have valued magic above all else, and those to whom it comes naturally are exalted. Wizards and bards are respected, but warlocks are mocked. Still better than not having magic, but not true power either if you have to bargain for it.
So this, dear heart, is why you should hide your spell book if you wish to be a true power player in Erenvi. You can make it as a Wizard, but Sorcery is the most respected.

Government

The Sorcerer Prince is the current ruler, and his advisors rule the city. When the Prince dies, all who would seek his title meet in the Bone Colliseum to fight for prominence.

The magical defenses of the city are unparalleled, but the city does not maintain a standing army.

Industry & Trade

Along with the obvious export of magic, the city is a producer of wines, silk, and paper.

Architecture

The city consists of cool marble towers, brought in from the desert.
