Dri'Lin Racing
A Dri'Lin race is a real magnificent sight, I saw my first one as a lad and I knew one day I'd get me a Dri'Lin egg, and I'd train her up to be the fastest lizard in the desert.
I didn't of course - never could find a nest.
History
The Dri'Lin have always been important to the desert dwellers, and it is only natural to try to race them - they're fast, they're agile, and young people want to know whose the best. No one knows when the first races happened.
Components and tools
The Pril - a blunted spear used to try to knock other riders off of their Dri'Lin is carefully made.
The Dri'Lin themselves are raised from babies, it is a rite of passage for a desert tribe dweller to pick a young Dri'Lin (many insist wild ones are faster) and train it. For the race itself, the lizard is painted bright colors and some put masks on their lizards.
