Path of Shadows

Path of Shadows (Mystic)

Your connection to shadows allows you to traverse in darkness unseen

Meld into Shadow

At 3rd level you can use your action to meld into shadows. If you or your own shadow touch darkness or the shadow of another object you can meld into it and move at a speed of 15 within the darkness. While in the shadow you are only able to see via blindsight up to 30 feet. You are only able to use non-attack shadow based spells while you are absorbed into a shadow. Any attack against you by a person who can trace your presence will be done against your AC, and you will immediately be forced to emerge from the shadow upon taking any damage. If anyone steps on you or an object strikes or falls onto you, you will also be forced to emerge. You are able to move between any openings that are greater than water-tight sized. You are also unaffected by gravity and can move through vertical shadows as well.

Shukuchi

At 6th level you can spend a bonus action to warp from one shadow to another shadow within 30 feet. This ability can be used three times per long rest.

Solid Shadow

At 14th level as an action you can manipulate the shape of shadows you control, even making them 3 dimensional shapes. The shadows will become inky black and disappear from their natural position which becomes obviously visible to anyone watching. The amount of shadows you have access to determines the size of what you can make, and the density of the shadows determines its strength. The object you create must be connected back to the shadow that you control, and if the connection is severed by light, your control over the shadow will be broken and the shadows will return to their natural state   Light Shadows (The types of small shadows you would find in a well lit room)
  • A 1x1ft area with the density of a blanket
  •   Moderate Shadows (A somewhat lit area with a balance of light and shadow)
  • A 20x20ft area with the density of a blanket
  • A 1x1ft area with the density of a 1in thick wood
  •   Heavy Shadows (Any area largely cut off from light, like a cave or)
  • A 100x100ft area with the density of a blanket
  • A 20x20ft area with the density of a 1in thick wood
  • A 1x1ft area with the density of steel
