6th-level enchantment
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (a shard of crystal resembling an eye)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You unleash a wave of psychic energy from your eyes, creating a chaotic field of fluctuating perceptions and disorienting effects within a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range. Each creature of your choice in the area must make a Wisdom saving throw or be affected by one of the following effects (your choice):
Confusion: The creature is overwhelmed by disorienting visions and sounds. On a failed save, it must roll a d10 at the start of each of its turns to determine its behavior as per the confusion spell. It can make a new Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Sensory Overload: The creature’s senses are heightened to a painful degree. On a failed save, it gains disadvantage on all attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. Additionally, it takes 4d6 psychic damage at the start of each of its turns. The creature can make a new Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Paralytic Fear: The creature is struck with overwhelming terror. On a failed save, it becomes frightened and paralyzed until the end of its next turn. It can make a new Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns to break free of the fear.
Additional Effect: While you are concentrating on this spell, your eyes glow with a chaotic, lunatic light, and creatures within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw whenever they attempt to target you with an attack or harmful effect, or the action fails automatically as they momentarily lose their grip on reality.
