Greater Elemental Infusion

  • Level: 4th-level Transmutation
  • Casting Time: 1 action
  • Range: Touch
  • Components: V, S, M (a fragment of an elemental crystal worth at least 100 gp)
  • Duration: 1 hour
  •   Description: You infuse a weapon, piece of armor, or a willing creature with powerful elemental energy. Choose one element: fire, cold, lightning, acid, or poison. The infused target gains the following benefits:
  • Weapon Infusion: The weapon deals an additional 2d8 damage of the chosen element on a hit and has a chance to trigger a minor elemental effect (e.g., fire causes burning, cold slows movement).
  • Armor Infusion: The wearer gains resistance to the chosen element and deals 1d6 damage of that element when struck in melee combat.
  • Creature Infusion: A willing creature gains immunity to the chosen damage type for the duration.
  •   Special: This spell cannot be stacked with Elemental Infusion on the same target. Using both spells simultaneously will replace the lesser infusion with the greater one.
