Fujin and Raijin

You make a pact with the kami of wind (Fujin), and the Kami of Storms (Raijin), who lend you their elemental powers  

Fujin and Raijin Spells

(1) Earth Tremor, Thunderwave   (3) Gust of Wind, Shatter   (5) Lightning Bolt, Wind Wall   (7) Storm Sphere, Summon Elemental   (9) Control Winds, Steel Wind Strike  

War Taiko

At 1st level you gain the following features:   You gain resistance to thunder and lightning damage.   You can control certain aspects of the weather within 100 feet of you. You can create moderate winds and choose their direction. You can cause it to rain or stop raining.   Whenever you start casting a spell of level 1 or higher that deals lightning or thunder damage, an eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take lightning or thunder damage (choose each time this ability activates) equal to half your Warlock level. You can also choose to reskin other elemental spells to do lightning or thunder damage to increase your options.  

Bag of Winds

At 6th level you gain the ability to use Fujin's bag of winds as a bonus action which grants the following effects that stop at the end of your turn:   Movement increases by 30 feet   You ignore rough terrain   You don't provoke any oppportunity attacks  

Raijin's Wrath

At 10th level when you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal lightning damage to the attacker. The damage equals your warlock level.   The attack must also make a Strength saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker is pushed in a straight line up to 20 feet away from you.  

Flying Nimbus

At 14th level you gain the following features:   You gain immunity to lightning and thunder damage.   You obtain a mount in the form of a small storm cloud large enough to carry just you. The nimbus has a speed of 60 feet, and allows you as an action can launch a lightning bolt from the cloud which acts as the Lightning Bolt spell, and can be used 3 times per long rest without expending a spell slot. If you are incapacitated the cloud autmatically dissapates.    

Invocations (Optional)

  • Breath of the Tempest: Prerequisite: Level 5 - You can cast Gust of Wind at will, without expending a spell slot. Additionally, when you cast a wind-based spell, you can force creatures caught in it to make a Strength saving throw or be pushed an additional 10 feet in the direction of the wind.
  • Raijin's Thunderclap: Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome, Level 7 - Add Thunderwave to your Book of Shadows. When you cast this spell, you can add your Charisma modifier to the damage dealt. If you hit multiple creatures, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier for each creature affected.
  • Storm Strider: Prerequisite: Level 9 - You are blessed with the speed of the wind. As a bonus action, you can grant yourself a flying speed of 30 feet until the end of your next turn. While flying in this way, your movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
  • Fury of the Kamikaze: Prerequisite: Level 12 - When casting Eldritch Blast, you can infuse it with the wind of Fujin or the thunder of Raijin. Choose one: Fujin’s Wind: Push the target 15 feet away on a hit, or Raijin’s Thunder: The target must make a Constitution saving throw or become deafened for 1 minute.
  • Twin Wrath of Fujin and Raijin: Prerequisite: Level 15 - As an action, you can summon a storm around you, embodying both Fujin and Raijin for 1 minute. During this time: Winds of Fujin swirl around you, granting you resistance to ranged attacks. Thunder of Raijin blasts any creature that hits you in melee, dealing 1d8 thunder damage. You can use this ability once per long rest.
