Level: 4th-level Divination (Ritual)
Casting Time: 1 hour
Range: Self
Components: V, S, M (a star map, a silver telescope worth 500 gp, and incense made from rare herbs)
Duration: 24 hours
Description: You perform an intricate ritual under the open sky, gazing into the stars to divine insights about the following day. When the ritual is complete, roll a d20 and consult the results based on the guidance you sought (e.g., combat, travel, relationships, or a particular goal).
The stars offer the following forms of insight:
Omens of Fortune: You receive a blessing that grants you and up to 5 chosen allies a +1 bonus on one type of ability check, saving throw, or attack roll throughout the following day.
Warnings of Peril: The stars reveal impending dangers. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks to discern threats and gain a +2 bonus to AC for the first combat encounter you face in the next 24 hours.
Pathways Unveiled: The ritual provides a clear image of an upcoming choice or challenge. The DM may grant you and your allies specific information or hints about what lies ahead, including vague symbols, names, or visions that are thematically relevant.
Celestial Guidance: Once over the next 24 hours, you can call upon the insight of the stars to reroll one failed roll or gain a +5 bonus on one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw of your choice.
Special: The ritual must be performed under the open sky and takes effect only if the stars are visible. Overcast skies or magical disruptions may hinder the reading, providing false or unclear visions (DM's discretion).
