Marquis/Marquess

Internally, there are a council of Marquis/Marquesses that manage the trade matters so that other nobles are not required to. Two are in place in each district of the kingdom, and there are three districts per kingdom. On an almost equal footing with the Counts/Countesses, they respond directly to the Dukes/Duchesses.
They are elected by a council of merchants and can serve two 5 year terms.

Must have been a merchant for 10 years

Duties

Manages matters of trade and taxes, resolve concerns among merchants
