Solar system
The Solar system is a planetary system much like our own. Home to Terra, and thus the root of many of the galaxy's sapient species, the Solar system has a single life-bearing planet of its own, and several more which are terraformed to be habitable to humans. While its name causes some confusion, as many refer to planetary systems as solar systems, it has a genuine root: the Solar system is named after its star, Sol. Still, it is emphasized that, as a planetary system, this system's name should be capitalized: the Solar system, rather than a regular solar system.
