Silvaria

Silvaria is one of the few civilized lands in all of Yuruk-Tar. It is one nation although loosely knit. Bonded together through the Silver Pact this nation is the only true semblance of nation left in Yuruk-Tar, although its not the best example. Stretches of wild untamed land stretch for miles between location with not a person to be found and each nation struggles to fight against the plagues that come upon them. Although many towns come and go there are eleven cities that have stood the test of time through strong leadership and luck. The City of Light, a magical city run by mages that has globes of light drifting around to light up the night on the shores of the Sea of Darkness. Mirabar, a desert town. Tinker Goffer, a city of gnomes with advanced although questionably practical technology. Frost-March Hold a place on the border of the northern wastes that is coated in snow. Aerodouth, the most powerful and militaristic city of Silvaria. Parthington, a town which is a trading hub with the Wild-Lands. Sprigalia, a city of tribes that formed together to survive and eventually made one large community. Stream Crossing, a City that is fed by the River of Gold. Stringot and the Southern Hold which act as trade hubs for Arkensdale and "The Oasis" respectively of the Land of the Sun. And lastly Boulder falls, a mining town that gets its ores from the howling mountains. These cities have held through hundreds of disasters and wars and still stand.

Structure

Each city has its own form of government however each one also has a representative to represent the city when Silvaria holds a moot to decide decisions that affect the entire region. Most of the time this is the king of the city but for other regions this might be the persons only title or it might be someone democratically voted for each time a moot is held.

Public Agenda

They simply wish to survive and prosper. Yuruk-Tar is a harsh land and if they can leave their mark on so hostile a place they will be remembered forever.

Assets

Depends on the city, however military is often important in these cities not because of warring amongst themselves but because the monsters of this land are hostile and powerful and need to be fought off.

History

Starting at 1200 A.F. (The Age of Founding) when Silvaria had only recently been discovered people from all around settled in. Despite the masses of land wars broke out for it. It was not until the Golden River cracked open and unleashed the wrath of the seas upon the land that they realized that this land was not safe and warring only made it worse. King Yeren of Aerodouth made the Silver Pact and signed with all the other leaders in order to establish peace between the nations, and it has lasted to this day. In 165 A.K. (Age of Kingdoms) a giant named Magnus and his people began to try and take over Silvaria, this was put to an end in 168 A.K. When giants were banished from the world forever. In 787 A.K. Zernov tried to ressurect Gulthias the Vampire Lord, Blight of Silvaria.
