Church of Tuara

Under the Church of First Worship the Church of Tuara is the primary sect recognized by those who worship Tuara above the other deities. They have a long history as do-gooder and celebrants who attend the events of those unrelated to them to help celebrate victories and glory earned.

Divine Origins

The Church of Tuara has been around nearly as long as humans have known about primis. Even though Maenar and the others all presented themselves as a pantheon, Tuara was one of the first to cultivate her own following. It was likely due to her secular appeal but once people learned more about her protfolio and opinions she became even more popular and her worship grew into a full-blown organized religion.

Tenets of Faith

One of the most important things to Tuara is glory and she doesn't shy away from being competitive. The quickest way to glory is through victory so she encourages all kinds of contests among her followers. Some prefer physical competitions, espeically the youths, but it's not limited to atheltics. During prosperous times many churches have contests based around food, crafting of all kinds, and even tests of a sexual nature for those with the appropriate social liberty.

Granted Divine Powers

Although not everyone among the worshippers of Tuara is clergy, even the commited layperson can earn divine gifts from their patron. The disciplined worshippers learn religious ceremonies and blessings passed officially through the church but just as many make personal pacts through acts of devotion. As a prime tenant of her beliefs, Tuara believes power should be shared for everyone and she accepts agreements with all truly devout followers.

Sects

The Ruby Illusion

Born from a split in theological beliefs, the Ruby Illusion is a large sect within The Church of Tuara but is not popularly known among nonworshippers. They interpret much of Tuara's teaching as less metaphorical than their preceeding religion and although sometimes seen as unsightly or even dangerous, they are true believers in the word of Tuara and follow her above all others.
