Personal history

Lucretia was born in a town east of Ruhn. She was about 5 years old when her father died in battle against a local bandit lord. Lucretia cried and begged her father to stay the day he left, knowing he would not return from battle. Her mother was forced to work for a lesser lord of the Andric Empire and his spoiled sons. Even though Lucretias mother tried to hide her pain from others especially from her daughter, Lucretia could sense her emotions. When her mother learned about the abilities of her daughter she tried to hide them from everyone. Lucretia helped the people in town besides her own condition and spread hope to the people. The sons of the lord always picked on her, but one day when they got bored they thought it would be kinda funny to chase Lucretia through the town. So they released their bloodhounds and decided whoever gets her first, shall keep her. It was then when they realized that Lucretia always knew how to escape the dogs and traps the laid. Eventually, they got her and tried to torture her to get answers for her behaviour. What the sons didn't know, but Lucretia did, that help was on the way and so her mother came with some of the townsfolk and beat up the sons. She knew her mother would tell her to flee. Even though she knew beforehand that this would happen it was hard to leave her mother behind.   Every time she found a place to stay, greedy people tried to use her as soon as people found out about her powers. She became known as the Oracle. After a while of travelling, she joined a group of healers, called the Wandering Healers. That is where she found Saint Albus a man she describes as the purest soul in Kandria, she couldn't sense any darkness in him no matter how deep she reached in his soul. Even though she found people who had dark marks on their souls within the group of the Wandering Healers, she decided to stay with Albus and tried to improve her abilities.   The Wandering Healers who became aware of Lucretia's abilities decided to train her in martial arts so she can protect herself and so they dropped her off at their monastery. Here she learned more about her gifts and she was educated in multiple languages. When she first arrived she sensed little darkness in the monastery, but the longer she stayed the more the darkness grew. On a fateful day she got a Vision that great evil has befallen her sisters and brethren. In her vision, she saw the undead walking amongst the temple and everything burned, even the temple garden she loved. As soon as she woke from the vision and as she wanted to share the vision with the elder, she realized that the soul of the elder himself was turned into pitch black. Never had she seen such evil, so she decided to be silent about that matter and stop this madman by herself.   At midnight she secretly followed the elder to his ritual place. Several people gathered at this ritual site and Lucretia decided that now is the time to disrupt the meeting. What Lucretia didn't realize, a little stroke of luck, was that the elder turned out every light source to cover his identity. With the training she got, she fought her way through the minions to the elder. As she chased the elder, he managed to beat her up for good and as she slowly faded out she heard footsteps some running towards her others away. She woke up in the hospital of the monastery next to Albus. Albus told her he found her collapsed on the floor and someone with a black robe escaped. She tried to sense the presence of the elder but she couldn't sense any darkness in the monastery. When Albus talked about joining a group of people who fight for the good in Kandria, she decided she wants to be a part of this and mostly be at the side of Albus again.   In this Order, later called Stromus Solare, she was known to be utterly kind and always there for spiritual guidance. Like Albus, she cared deeply for every member of this Organisation. She always seemed to be a cheerful person and had a place in her heart for everyone. If she wasn't with Albus she spent her time with Saint Kain and learned the ways of nature. Saint Kain, Lucretia and Albus formed the Trinity of the Wise in Stromus Solare, matters of the mind were left to those three.   Later when her beloved Albus died, due to the cause of a Necromancer, she avenged him. Albus traded his life in exchange to save his hometown. She easily followed the traces of this Necromancer to the Terra Maledictus. As she tried to sense the evil in these Lands she realized that the very essence of this land was pitch black and corrupted. Through her gift, all she could see was utter and endless darkness. She was always strong in her faith but right now she felt lost. She crawled on all fours to find a way when she heard a familiar cold laugh and fear froze her heart. Her enemy was no one else than the elder of the monastery.   She realized by killing Albus, the one she deeply loved was just a trick to get to her and now her enemy mocked her by taking her blessed sight. She tried to escape but it was a forlon effort and the Necromancer taunted her even more by not killing her off. When she was about to lose all hope she remembered what Saint Kain taught her about the ways of the wild and she finally used her other natural senses. In this fight, she managed to take the eyesight of this cruel man and now it was he who crawled on all fours and begged for mercy. She couldn't bring it over her heart to kill this man and so she took him back to the Andric Empire where he was judged for his crimes. The people of the empire burned him at the stake and while he burned he still was begging for mercy.   After that, she continued Albus' work of healing education through all classes of society. From time to time she would travel with Saint Kain to Terra Maledictus and explore those lands. Before the vanishing of Saint Kain, both worked on the Book Manifesta Maledictus, but this book has been lost through the ages. Rumours are that either the book is with Saint Kain or in the old monastery where she lived when she was younger. She died peacefully in the township Lucretia's Lumen, which was named after her. Her grave is next to her beloved Albus.
