Odranu

Odranu, The Source in the Old Tongue

A massive reservoir of pure, untarnished Odraka, located within the star, the planet Kali orbits. It was created by the Dreamer Kalish. It serves as the fuel for this Dream's Arsa, Weaving.

Odranu is a gateway of sorts that allows mortals born on Kali to connect to it. The process of connecting is commonly called "Embracing or Opening oneself to the Source." This is a unique form of Channeling, exclusive to this Arsa. This type of Channeling grants access to Odranu, and the infinite torrent of Odraka within.

Mortals born on Kali are connected to Odranu by a tether made of pure Odraka that forms at birth, this tether is extremely resilient but is not indestructible.

There are two ways for a tether to be destroyed. It can be burned out by a Weaver drawing in too much Odraka, overwhelming how much they can hold and control or it can be severed by another Thread-Weaver using a specific Weave, or another Arsa that allows the creation of a blade made purely of the Spirit and Axion Roots. When a Weaver is not Channeling their tether is empty and limp, in this state it is far easier to be severed or blocked.
