Jewel of Antonne

A massive, priceless jewel that is protected by the Spanch King's Personal Guard. It is the single most important item in the Spanch lands - people have fought over the jewel throughout the land's history to the point that it was thought to be lost.
Eventually, the Jewel became a more mystical meaning, namely that the Jewel would be used to unite the land.
And it was - found some years after being lost, it was used by King L'bon Valencia to assert his rule over the entire empire.
It is a symbol to the people now - belonging not to any one noble, leader, or king, but to the people of Span'ce themselves.
