Yenech

Yenech Valth-Murnak came from a long line of powerful people. As the Former Chairman of the Murnak Corporation, he saw the exponential growth of the company, leading it to a golden age. His many accolades lead to the household name being, well a household name.

Legacy

Yenech's mother, Fira, held the title before him, gently urging the already large Murn manufacturer with acquisitions of various sub-categories. Yenech took what his mother made and ran with it, now making major acquisitions of pre-established brands, partnerships, and a heavy push on advertisement. He brought the word Murn to mean what it does today, a device that can "solve any problem". Have dirty dishes and not enough space for a washer, use a rinsing murn. Need a quick and dirty translation, a speech murn will do you just fine. Need a light? Spark Murn. You name it, there's a murn for it, at least so the marketing goes.   Manufacturer of many murn, the brand a household name.

Death

I heard he died of multiple stab wounds.
— Witch of Knowledge
The recorded cause of death was cardiac arrest. It was sudden, he seemed so healthy and was on his way to purchasing a large plot of land to build what he hoped to be a city of murn. The suddenness of it all sent the company into chaos, no chain of command was in place to handle his loss. And, because of this, the cracks, they seeped egregiously foul ooze.

Uncovered

After Yenech's death, many scandals came to bear. Numerous of the larger partnerships were made under duress. Factories employed labor not quite ethical. The products themselves are faulty and many recalls had been quietly enacted and many lawsuits paid off with large amounts of hush money. In fact, if one could think of some nefarious act a company could take, chances are Yenech was the one to not only pull the trigger but come up with the idea.

One devious realization that a single soul came to know will never be made public.

The current chairman, his cousin Aldr Valth-Surat, is the current chairman and is doing, by what many consider, an admirable job of shifting the company to more legitimate practices while not missing a step with its growth. Many factories have been torn down, companies that carried the label of Murnak now have their own autonomy once more, and the products, many say, have a distinct increase in price and quality.
