Bane
The Blood Hawk
I speak to you generals directly, for it is frivolous to hide behind the ethereal curtain. Those that hide do so to preserve their illusion of power over their followers, essentially a farce. Be forthright in your communions, be stern in your conviction, and be honest with your intent to raze your foes to the ground, as is your divine right. -BaneBane was the first deity to arrive in Kal'araan following the Descent, his followers landing on eastern shores in late 1 PD. Driven by conquest, his followers founded the city of Arrowick and quickly began a campaign of both the Southern Emyr Expanse and Northern Emyr Expanse. Bane's leadership as a deity was a far reach from what most were used to, often communing with his followers in physical form to guide them in their military exploits. His straightforward approach to warfare was both unconventional and effective. He handed down a plethora of military expertise, and thus created one of the fiercest fighting forces Kal'araan has ever seen, The Black Hand. Responsible for killing Orcus, Bane's legacy is a complicated and often undisclosed one.
