Arrowick

The Eastern Cliff is a different beast. Cormyr's rife with crime and gangs. Arrowick is rife with old ideals and even older blood. There's a conviction in Arrowick not common in the rest of Southern Emyr.

Demographics

Like most of the Southern Emyr Expanse, Arrowick is majority Emyri Human, though the town is home to a unique population of Hobgoblins.

Government

A city within the Imperial Commonwealth of Emyr, Arrowick is subject to Commonwealth rule. It is overseen by it's mayor (called the Marshal) Harriot Mays.

Defences

With a large, old fortress atop the cliff overlooking the town proper, Arrowick is able to garrison and protect its townspeople should a threat arise.

Industry & Trade

Arrowick is the primary port of entry for trade from Kal'Araan's eastern shores into the Northern and Southern Emyr Expanse as it sits on the mouth of the Huroni River.

History

Less crime-addled that its neighbor Cormyr, Arrowick still has it's share of muddied history. It is the former home of The Black Hand, as well as a current home to a guild of Hobgoblin fighters.

Geography

Sitting at the cliff-edge mouth of the Huroni River's eastern outlet, Arrowick has a clear view of both the eastern ocean and the Northern Emyr Expanse. Small rocky hills and moraines define the surround area, like much of Southern Emyr.
