New Kaigen Collective (NKC) Grand Marshal

New Kaigen Collective (NKC) Grand Marshal is a prestigious rank within the New Kaigen Collective, acting as General Officers within the military and as regional Governors in the more volatile or newly reclaimed territories. Only the most dedicated and talented members of the NKC can hope to earn this rank through many years of service and noteworthy action from meritorious service. While generally raised to this rank by merit it is not perfect. However, poor performance as a Grand Marshal generally results in an expedited retirement or attrition through other means as these are highly public and difficult positions to maintain.

Origins...

The NKC Grand Marshals were developed near the end of the Divergence War during the formation of the NKC as a necessity for maintaining order in an ever growing movement amidst racial factions at war across the globe. The founding NKC Grand Marshal were appointed by the founder of the Kaigenesis Covenant, Arch-Technologist Vilhem Karsh. While Arch-Technologist Karsh made the selections for the first NKC Grand Marshal it was left to the appointed Grand Marshal to set the standard and recruit Kaiur of worth to ensure stability of the fledgling NKC. Once the corp of Grand Marshals were selected from the NKC ranks they formed the committee that would guide the Collective's Economic, Military and Infrastructure policies to this very day.

The first Grand Marshal...

The first appointed Grand Marshal was Grand Marshal Zaharaf, a known leader to the Skrynox people, or as they refer to him, the Honored One as a “Kormal”. Before Zaharaf took on the role of NKC Grand Marshal he was the “Kormal” of the Skrynox Citadel in the Eastern islands of the Gacu Isles above the Poznar Desert or “Fire” Deserts. He oversaw the bloodiest and greatest campaign of the Skrynox Shock Paladins history at Balfur Ridge which was a critical victory towards bringing many of the Mekkan City States into the NKC which many consider as the start of the end of the Divergent war. Due to his involvement there and reputation as an excellent military leader, adherent to order and balanced approach to problems he was requested to found the NKC Grand Marshals by Basuran visionary and Arch-Technologist Rogeur Lesage (Roh-jer Leh-Sa-zuh) whom was appointed just before first Arch-Technologist Vilhem Karsh disappeared (He later reappeared with the discovery of the Gacu just before going missing again and is presumed dead on the Gacu Isles due to a secretive final transmission to Arch-Technologist Rogeur Lesage).

Currently...

There are 16 Grand Marshals overseeing the regions within the NKC making up a the largest combined nation in Ur despite residing in only a fraction of Urs total hospitable areas. Their standing orders are to expand and seek out Kaijin Prime ruins, unknown species of Ur or cultivate the nearly uninhabitable wilderness across Ur.
